Community-centric brewery, cidery and meadery. Large open taproom. Bring in your own food. Host events and parties for free.
That's a small glass, BTW, for those of you who don't know. I'm of a certain age from the east coast. I have been here a number of times and the beer selection is very much to my liking. Tommy the bartender is a good guy, and gave me good advice for a NYC visit (he is from there). I usually get their mead---they have a number of types---some brewed in house. The room itself is sparse, open, with large communal tables. The bar is the place to be.....the beer is uniformly good. I did tour the brewing area and it reminded me of the on-premise concept where you go and brew your own.....very small batches. This is a good thing where the quality of beer is concerned. They have snacks but I have not tried these. We typically go here when at Cedar Lee.Just keep in mind, it is the beer/mead you want when you go here.

Stopped by for a pint and some wings. Place was friendly enough, bartenders and waitress working hard. Older place, older crowd. Decent beer selection and menu. Prices were fair. Sports on the televisions. Yeah, a quiet neighborhood bar with regulars that weren't fussy about you joining them. Ample off street parking in rear.

The Tavern Company on Lee Road in Cleveland Height, OH is everyone one would want in a local restaurant. The menu is both diverse and excellent. From Buffalo wings fried to crispy perfection to fresh green salad to some of the best burgers in Cleveland, TavCo has it all.The staff is consistently great. The owner is frequently on site and his staff is loyal and well trained. They are comfortable people - neither overly saccharine nor too passive. Each server is interesting, smart, and helpful. The beer menu is blessed with excellent local offerings, as well as some of the best national craft beers. With that said, one need not have a waxed mustache to enjoy the bar. They serve Bud, Miller, etc. if that works better.Bottom line, The Tavern Company is a great choice for nearly any occasion. The menu has something for everyone - without being bad at anything. The setting is classic Cleveland - with TV's high in the corners and antlers above the bar. Give it a shot.

Stopped in before movie at Cedar Lee. Reasonable drink prices comfortable atmosphere. Friendly helpful service. Had fried Rueben balls as an appetizer. 3 large balls full of corned beef, Swiss cheese with thousand island dressing on the side. Also had buffalo chicken with blue cheese salad, and a Caesar salad. Check it out varied menu with good quality food. Free dessert Halloween candy.

Went on a Thursday early evening. Not crowded but a number of groups. Service was attentive and quick. A little disappointed that the beer selection was not particularly diverse (e.g., we like the darker beers and those were quite limited). However, the Dog Pound brown ale was quite good. However, the BBQ pork sandwich was dry and seemed thrown together (fries were good), and the chicken pesto pizza was below average, and not worth bringing the extra home. Next time, we'll probably stick to the beer.

OK, itâs not that this place is bad ... itâs just that itâs not âworthâ the price of admission! We went there and the menu, (a novel), to choose from and although the portions are quite big the bill is as well! The food tastes very good ... like I said ... its not bad. Enjoy if you like this.We are sorry that your experience was not better than average! Next time, if there is anything that can be done to improve your experience, please let our managers know so we can make things right while you are still dining with us. Thank you for your review!

The margaritas are mediocre, small and served in jars, although they're only five bucks, which appeals to their young audience. The food isn't near as good as the Mexican place around the corner. But as a hangout, it's a good choice for the college crowd.

The six of us shared a pizza appetizer, the brussell sprout app and the fries with truffles...all were superbly done. Most of us had some sort of fish taco wrapped in lettuce leaves. There was plenty for each serving and quite delicious. One of our friends had a vegan Japanese dish with tofu and the flavors were phenomenal. I will return, only this time I hope to sit outside. The only down side were the acoustics which made it difficult to carry on conversations.

We patronize Nighttown fairly frequently, largely for dinner before an event and also at times for lunch. This is a long time great favorite. Food and service are always consistent and dependable and excellent value. They also have frequent music offerings, which we don't take advantage of as much as we'd like. they also have heated patio. can't miss for easy, decent meal for lunch or dinner.

Melt opened in September 2006 with one goal: To provide gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and as many beers as possible in a cool and comfortable environment. No bar food. No boring choices on tap. And something for everyone: it's Cleveland-friendly, slig
First time Iâve ever been to Melt after hearing about it so many times. The atmosphere is fun. The menu has LOTS of choicesâespecially for us vegetarians. Huge beer and cocktail list. Only problem was the service was slow. Understaffed for sure. I understand this is a long-standing issue.Still a great sandwich and good soup.
