Popped in here after a long walk and shop and I must say it was a real good surprise.Drink and food was very good and dog friendly which was a pleasant surprise Staff were really good with our dog.Recommend itWe are very happy to have given you a great place to rest, a couple of our brewed on site beers and a great meal after what sounds like a very busy day. It's always a pleasure to look after our guests (both human and furry) hopefully your next day out will bring you our way again.

We come here often for lunch because there's so much to choose on the menu & the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I recommend their brunch menu, the cosy eggs and ham hock hash are delicious!

The Goat & Tricycle is an adorable building, like something out of a picture book. Flowers and window boxes outside and quirky decorations inside. Very local it seemed; we certainly felt like the only tourists while we were there (and a bit of fish out of water..). Despite it only being about 5pm, the staff kindly served us some tea and a sticky pudding dessert (which was delicious). Inside is very comfortable. Clean, plenty of booths for cozy seating. First visit - strange mix of bar - restaurant - live entertainment ! Booked for meet up with friends but def not the place for a quiet chat ! Made worse by the noisiest table next to us in Bournemouth ! The food was good however - Would say its more of a bar with food than somewhere to go and eat - which is a shame as the food and restaurant area is nice ! Plus ordering at bar and then having to queue at the bar your meal to pay on a busy Friday night isnât the best way to get return business !! Good vibe but confused identity - seemed / felt disorganised Hi DinerSouthsea -you've hit the nail right on the head, I think - we're a bar that serves really good food, and have live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, which has been really popular with our regular clientele for the last 3 years. There's a huge welcome sign as you come in that recommends you order at the bar, although we're always happy to take your order at the table if you prefer - just ask us when you arrive, although we'll reinforce staff training to make sure we're all more aware of attention to detail as a consequence of your review so thankyou :)

a really excellent family meal. the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. there were 10 people so various dishes were ordered all excellent. this was the friday evening. on the saturday evening was my 80th birthday party in the franklin suite.this was executed by maria and her excellent team. absolutely superb.

Had a great Full Englisg breakfast with friends while watching the SA verse Namibia rugby game....enjoyed a few Beerhose Lighting brews along the way. Nice venue with good food and beer We are so glad you had a great time watching rugby and enjoying our Brunch with a few beers. Our Lightening Bolt is indeed very tasty. Our Sunday roast was fairly reasonable, although the roast potatoes were very hard and difficult to cut and eat.The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the meal itself didn't do justice to their hard work.

Booked this feeling dubious because of the âbottomlessâ advertising but cannot STRESS ENOUGH it has been easily the most value for money package deal I have ever had! The staff were so friendly and welcoming - Chantelle & Michael. The Halloween games we played were so fun and gave us a chance to make friends with the other people who were here!
