Wow- it was the shockingly poor experience tonight that prompted me to get online and write this after coming home. This place struck out on just about every aspect of the evening.From the time we took our seats, took almost 30 minutes for drinks to come out and just about an hour for the food. Part of the delay was waiting 10 minutes just to get menus, then not seeing the server again for another 10 minutes. This despite the place being virtually empty. Question about a drink or menu item? Sorry, donât know, gotta ask a co-worker. See you again in another 10 minutes. Jazz nâ Fizz? Not quite. Fine, itâs Ramadan, so they donât have live music because thereâs less customer traffic, so letâs at least have some nice jazz music playing through the sound system to enjoy with our drinks and views. Nope. More like Jam nâ Fizz. The music through the tinny-sounding speakers came from a four-disc changer: Whitney Houston, Reggae hits, Michael Buble, and Eighties Love Rock cycling non-stop for 3 hours. We heard Bob Marley âweâre Jamminâ three times, no exaggeration. All this despite nicely asking the staff about 20 minutes in if they could please play jazz music in their jazz bar.And then the food. Itâs a cocktail bar, so thereâs only 15 items on the menu anyway. Okay. But itâs a Sofitel, and only 15 items, so they should be able to make them good quality. Nope. Tough, chewy sliders; greased-out tempura; skinny, meagre and over-cooked sate. At least the fries and dipping sauce were okay. Letâs have the oysters: no, sorry, not tonight. Ok, the sushi platter: no, sorry, donât have that either. Alrighty, then the Ottoman charcuterie platter: sorry, once again. But we do have the regular charcuterie platter with dried out bread.Again, just really surprised by the poor showing here, in complete contrast to the high rating on this site and normally reliable Sofitel quality. We were really looking forward to a change of pace from a regular sit-down restaurant dinner - a relaxing night out with good drinks, food, music and atmosphere. Instead we spent most of the time just wanting to finish up and get home.The only plus? The two (yes, two, including the bartender) employees working the lounge were friendly and polite, if inattentive.Wonât be back.

Itâs really an amazing indoor sports bar. Located in middle of Abu Dhabi island. Location is near by most of abudhabi. You can watch whatever sport you want. Two humangus screens with over 20 TVs all around, just name the sport you want to watch :) staff are amazing. On spot, friendly and they are for YOU not for you pocket. Which is huge difference in some places. Food is sports bar one. You need to try the flaming wings, according to the chef it is all most 1m ( spicy thingy) It is interesting:) Eric, Eric , Eric. My wife and I had a chance to go there last night and came away so impressed with the quality of service, the waiter Ahmed Abuzeid was one of the nicest people we have met since being in UAE. The food at Barfly was outstanding, so much so it was hard to walk away from getting just one more plate at the sushi social. Thank you for the outstanding atmosphere, food, and service!

This week has not been a good week, too much food and drink consumed! First brunch in a while and it was above and beyond my expectations!Jazz at Pizza Express is definitely a lively and entertaining brunch and I look forward to going back in the future.Using the entertainer and splitting the bill between 10 it was very good value at 120aed a head. The amount of food and variety was perfect and all served to the table. If anything the staff were TOO ATTENTIVE, not a single person had an empty plate or an empty drink from start to finish.Following brunch their happy hour makes for a cheap after party at 20/25 a drink. The music is loud so if you are not in the mood for a dance and a sing this might not be the best option. Music was a great mix all day with a live band taking requests.Dear CastleCamp, Glad to hear such positive feedback that we take pride in. We visited Abu Dhabi in mid-September and were looking for a place to hang out in the evenings- fortunately we came across Azura Panoramic Lounge which boasts beautiful scenes of Abu Dhabi, very attentive hosts (Jay and Jileen), and great shisha. Jay and Jileen made it all worthwhile, as they were very friendly, kind and attended to all our needs which included the fan, seating, I needed a plaster for a small cut and Jileen was kind enough to bring me one and Jay allowed me to use his own charger for my phone! In our final days Jay and Jileen provided some complimentary mocktails and ice creams which were delicious and very generous.Definitely worth a shout if youâre in the Corniche vicinity as youâd be very looked after with spectacular service and views.

We were invited for a champagne sabering that evening and it was a spectacular experience! Fernando narrated a lot about the history of St. Regis traditions and we did enjoyed the stories that made the night very interesting! It was fortunate that we were invited so we have to thank all of you! To the whole team of Crystal Lounge, keep up the excellent services! Highly recommended place to chill and just relax after a long day at work. Will keep coming back here for sure!
