Nach einer genüsslichen Wanderung im Ausmaà von ca. 2 Stunden vom Parkplatz beim Gasthof Feuerstein im hinteren Gnitztal wird man hier sehr freundlich von den Wirtsleuten empfangen. Es gibt traumhaft zubereitete, jedoch einfache Gerichte, dazu frische Salate, die man in dieser Qualität im Tal sehr oft nicht findet. Die Preise sind sehr günstig. Wem der Retourweg zu lange ist, kann hier auch übernachten

Ja - schön ist es oben an der Bärenfalle, doch leider wurden wir mehrfach enttäuscht, weil das Restaurant an vielen Tagen geschlossen war. Wir waren in der Neujahrswoche 2017 öfter da, doch leider war die Hütte wegen Personalmangel meist geschlossen. Schade, denn wir haben dort oben schon öfters sehr, sehr schöne Stunden bei gutem Essen und Getränken verbracht.

Living in Steinach am Brenner, I have been several times. The food is superbly cooked and the views down the 2 vallies are spendid. If you are near, it is well worth a trip in the lift and a short walk to the rrestaurant.

Very good restaurant, I am not a fan of dead animals hanging on the walls but well, this kind of "hunters style" deco is still very popular. Apart from this the restaurant is very cosy and comfortable, not any kind of fancy posh place but rather a welcoming easy going place with friendly atmosphere and alpine flair. Food is mostly based on meat so not really a paradise for vegetarian/vegan customers. Everything we ate was really tasty, I had garlic cream soup and salad with beef slices, my friends couldn't be more enthusiastic about steaks they had. Nice staff, quick service, absolutely nothing I could complain about.Good day,dear guest !Nomen est Omen i would say - the Name " Jagdhütte " for our Restaurant results from our Senior Boss,the 2 sons and the granddaughter being a hunter.all the decoration has been mostly hunted in the stubai valley.We do offer a few dishes without meat - mostly seasonal like asparagus or mushroomsbut we are quite well known for the quality of our meat, that we get delivered Fresh and cut it in the kitchenthanks for your reviewLooking Forward to host you againregardsRegine

This is like visiting a living museum.You can it inside the house surrounded by old memorabilia and special decor.Or you can sit outside at the back of the building which is nice on a hot summers night.Their mixed grill will easily keep you going until breakfast next day.And there are a lot of other interesting items on the menu to choose from.Service is nice and efficient.Prices are very reasonable.

After the hard (for us) walk up from the Meiders lift, we were in need of a good lunch, and were happy to find it here. It was very busy, and service a little slow, but the BernerWurst and Pommes Frites was a huge portion, and very nicely cooked. It's a beautiful building in a gorgeous location. We were a bit disappointed to see a big car park after we walked up, but that justified the big lunch.There's a little gift shop selling some unusual gifts (hand made soaps etc), and you can restore yourself with water from the healing springs afterwards.A lovely place to take in the views and have a meal.

Was actually looking for another place when passed by Platzl a few times. It didn't look inviting from the outside. The first room entering is nice all though people are allowed to smoke. Next room looks more like a bar but then there is a third room - A non smoking room! Very nice Austrian style with only a few people. We all ordered different kind of "Schnitzel" and it was all delivered within 10min after ordering. The Wiener Schnitzel is on the large size - even kids schnitzel was huge for a 6 year old. All tasted good, great beers too.

We ate at the Trinserhof restaurant in July. We were visiting Innsbruck and touring around the area. My friend from Innsbruck took us there while we were touring the area. He is good friends with the owner. We ate outside and the view from the terrace was world class. We got there around 6pm in the evening just as the restaurant was opening . Plan on a couple of hours or so to dine. Everything is made fresh so it takes a while, but this is a dining experience. I had the fresh bacon dumpling soup with lamb chops - great meal. My wife had the steak and it was very good too. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The restaurant is about 30 minutes from Innsbruck by car and is worth the drive. I am glad we were there in the summer so we could eat outside. The service was very good too.

We were a group of 21 staying here on a dinner b/b basis. The breakfast was fine, the usual mix of cold meats, cheese, cereals, yogurt and breads. Our evening meals were 4 courses, starting with a selection of salads, then soups (creamy usually and rather similar) then mains either fish, meat or veggie. Quality was fine really, not top notch but country fare and somedays better than others. Puddings were lovely too.No complaints except the flies buzzing round were a nuisance but you get that in the country.
