Very nice owners serving excellent local food. Located a bit outside makes it a nice place for hikers. They even offer personal shuttle (if you enjoyed (too much) beer or wine. The traktor museum (in the connected fern) is not a museum but a collection of nicely restored Porsche's (not cars, yet). The food was really lot and very tasty (wild-boar, chenterelle, Wiener Schnitzel XXXL) to help us re-charging for mountainbiking next day.

This small restaurant had a great secluded seating area overlooking Doef Tyrol castle. Sunny, shaded and a breat view for lunch. The menu was simp,e and the dishes ordered were very tasty. Try their take on Bruchetta. Padta dushes goid also. Great location for lunch with friendly service

Nice restaurant located a little east of the main street in Tirolo, with an excellent view out over the valley and the mountains on the other side. Nice walking distance into the central parts of Tirolo.The service was both very nice and alert and there are tables both outside in the garden and inside with large window wall to the valley. The food was quite simple but well made and tasted really good. Mainly local wines, miss some good Italian red wines!

We have been able to eat in the old stube and that made our stay and the delicious food even more special, everything was very neat and the bathroom was very modern and crisp

The restaurant is situated on top of a mountain. The view in front is marvelous. The interior is very nice too. The restaurant serves local cuisine. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly and efficient too. I am quite often in this region. Beside the luferkeller in riffian this is my favorite place around Meran.

This is a place for pizzas. A very big selection of pizzas. They are very large and more than enough to share. We ordered 4 and brought home most. The salads are very good as well. The server was very cordial and attentive. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Great to sit outside with plenty of shade areas during the day.

A beautiful, old building with an amazing view over Merano and the valley. It would be the perfect place for a light lunch or a drink. Sadly it is grossly overpriced. Admittedly I have only had a tea, but at over 5 Euro, I thought that adding a pastry would have been just extravagant. Yes, it was a loose leave tea and it even had a minute biscuit, but still..........

We had lunch in this restaurant after visiting the Schenna Castle.It was a warm October, and we enjoyed the nice food and very good beers! We came back for evening dinner, and the view of the mountains were just great! The coffees and desserts were excellent and excellent service!

Very popular local spot with super South Tyrolean food. We ate in a medical kitchen with 2 tables beside a log fire. Very rustic, cosy and romantic. The food was over priced, but the atmosphere made up for this.

It's the second time I have the plesure to spend some holidays in Meran and after 5 years I didn't wait to go again to this fantastic typical restaurant close to Meran.It is a pleasure to stay outside with a stunning view of the mountains and inside because it is very very characteristic with its walls made with real stones and everything so nice and warm.The food is very good at reasonable prices ( I recommend the mix of grilled meat and the Canederli of course with a good Weizen beer) and the staff very kind (new management since few months here).So don't hesitate to go of you want something authentic!!Dear guest,thank you for sharing your positive experience with TripAdvisor.
