My father in law had made a booking for 4 people at 7pm Saturday 17th. Arrived early at 6.50pm to find our table had been given to someone else and no others available. They showed us the booking in their book which had been marked off. My father in law pointed out we were not late, that his name and mobile number was recorded so how come table given to someone else. No explanation only blank looks, no offer of another table later, just didnât really care at all. Asked us if weâd like a take away order which we declined and walked out quite annoyed. Obviously canât comment on the food as we never got that far but front of house management attitude and processes very poor.

Ordered takeaway from here last week. The food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, delivered quickly and efficiently, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend eating here!!!!

We came here at lunchtime and ordered the lunch specials. I am comparing their food with some of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney which is my upper limit but I would have to say that the food reminded me of what I might get in a food hall in a Bangkok shopping centre. However having said that, it was cheap at $10.50 per plate (or thereabouts) and there would not be too much profit in that for them. It was tasty enough but I did not like the crinkly cut carrot pieces which were obviously from a caterer's pack. Anyway this is a pleasant little restaurant in a lively location and the food is nice enough for what it is. It is certainly an economical place to take the family if you are eating to a tight budget.Thanks for taking the time to revue Roslyn, but basing your opinion on ordering the most economical dish on the menu is a bit unfair.The staff here work hard to process all our veggies onsite Purchased fresh from Fruit 4 All at Tumbi Umbi, the carrots are hand cut with a crinkle knife, we have no idea what a âcatererâs packâ is. Order some Chinese food for Christmas day dinner. Delivery was very quick, quality was excellent and taste was fantastic. Could not fault the food and service. This is place has excellent Australian Chinese food.We have ordered take away and delivery several times and it has been great everytime.

First impressions are paramount and Alan the owner did an exceptional job at welcoming us and offering some menu choices.For entree we had the Hanoi Rolls.These are like a spring roll on steroids ie. About 3 times the size, generous delicious filling and a nice crunch from the fried rice paper wrapping. You have to try these The mains of Sapa Mixed Noodles, Lemongrass Prawns and a small Jasmine Rice.Both dishes were so tasty and good portion sizes.There was about 8 medium sized tender prawns in the Lemongrass Prawns dish and is served in a bowl with sliced cabbage pieces and grren beans in an delicious coconut curry sauce (similar to a laksa sauce) but next level due to the lemongrass and mild chilli flavours. This is really a stand-out dish The beer is served in a chilled glass ⺠and the table water was cold and topped - up frequently.We can honestly say it was a pleasure to eat at Sapa and will be back again for a fantastic lunch.Well done to Alan and the team.Thank you so much for your extensive and wonderful review. Lotus Court is THE BEST Chinese restaurant on the central coast! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious and the staff make you feel so welcome, like your one of the family! They are always happy to cater to my fussy requests and nothing is ever to much trouble. Whether your dining in, taking away or getting your meal delivered it is always fast service with a smile! Highly recommend to anyone looking for q great feed st reasonable prices. If you pick up and pay cash you get 10% discount also. Do yourself a favor and get your next meal from here! You won't regret it!

Great food at this nice restaurant. Inside the Mingara Recreation Club it has all the favourites. We had Steamed dim sums and Vege spring rolls which were nice without being great. Kids had the chicken and corn soup which the loved. Mains were shared Chicken and Cashew and beef in black bean. Both very nice and went with the mandatory fried rice. Prices were reasonable but beer and wine over priced for a club restaurant.

The location was nice, the food reasonably priced and great serving sizes. However, my groups interactions with one of the waitresses left a sour taste in all of our mouths, to the extent that we would have second thoughts returning. She gave off the impression that she did not want to be there, and we felt like every interaction we had with her, she was condescending and plainly rude. This was a shame since it was an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. After reading through other reviews, I have noticed that this waitress has been called up a few times before. I would recommend the management rectifying this issue, because this restaurant certainly has great potential.
