We used to have two really good Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants in Dunmow. This and the Jalsa Ghar.Now, weâve two ordinary ones.Food here is on a par with the other, but considerably cheaper.Service is bad. Not inept, just rude and uninterested.Good for a takeaway but wouldnât want to sit there only to be dictated to and rushed through a meal. Food can be thrown at you if theyâre under the pump.

This place was crowded with happy diners at 9 pm last night. The proprietor of my B&B (Chimneys, also an excellent find) had recommended this restaurant. The waitstaff was just attentive enough, without being intrusive. I knew I wanted samosas; they arrived piping hot and were delicious. Iâd asked for a recommendation for one of the six or so vegetarian choices and so went with the neramish (niramish). While not spiced as heavily as some Indian dishes Iâve ordered, it was flavorful and tasty. Super large serving, and I completely overate it as well as the biryani rice. I very much enjoyed my dining experience at Bombay Butler!

As wit any airport , prices r high n portions small. seems to be not authentic Japanese food per se but an interpretation of it- most condiments are thai made. ok food and a quick fix somewat fushion type Being from Hawai`i we can differentiate Japanese food .

Quite possibly the loudest restaurant we've ever been in (that includes Disney Kids Club breakfasts). By heck can the locals shout across their tables! Not the restaurants fault.However the food is restaurant's fault.Not proper Thai food. Everything suffered the same issue. No sour. Far too sweet. Heat & Salt okay. Totally unbalanced.It's quite pricy for what it is.The staff are excellent in every way.Hi Andy, thanks for taking the time to make comment. There was a particularly load group in that night, its not normally like that. I do wish however that you had enjoyed the food more, unfortunately after the event there is little we can do but If the food is not cooked to your taste then all you have to do is speak to the staff, we are always happy to replace a dish.

Wow I had heard Rubyâs was good but for some reason I had never visited. Well I wish I had visited earlier. We were here to celebrate a birthday and had the most amazing meal.It is more of a fine dining Indian restaurant, with curryâs served directly onto plates and not served in bowls. All of our courses were first class, good portion size and delicious.The service was prompt and friendly and the was a lovely restaurant atmosphere. The staff had sprinkled the table in happy birthday confetti and there was a celebratory ice cream and sparkler. We could not fault our meal or the service we experienced and we will certainly be visiting again.

What another great meal and experience here at Shadhona. This restaurant never let's me down and I always always always have a fantastic meal and service here!!The staff are so friendly and welcoming. If you fancy a different meal to your usual order the staff here are always in hand to help and they never disappoint.The food is absolutely full of flavour and their menu gives you so many options to choose from. Honestly a great place to eat whether you fancy a quiet meal with friends & family to celebrating a special occasion.Definitely a first port of call for a great curry!!

Sunday night deal with 20% off made this, a cost effective and first rate meal.Only negative for me was waiters coming up constantly and asking if we were finished when it was, quite obvious by fork in mouth that we, weren't.Would eat here anytime however especially now they have their alcohol license back

Anyone who writes a bad review of this place is either naive, not well travelled or has another agenda. This is one of the best Thai restaurants outside of the Far East. Lovely Thai staff, beautifully presented food with absolutely gorgeous taste. Well done we will be back again and again.............We very much appreciate your comments, we always do our utmost to provide good authentic Thai food and a good service. We are always open to constructive criticism, although very rare, and happy to address any issues. The previous reviewer left a bad review yet did not contact the restaurant directly to raise their concerns or to offer us the opportunity to respond. We therefore came to the conclusion that this was indeed an agenda driven reviewer and chose not to respond. The very essence of Tripadvisor is to enable clients and customers to leave honest reviews that would help potential customers make their decisions. This behaviour is very unproductive and sadly an abuse of the system.
