The food was excellent at Chilli Man but the service is a bit slow. Centrally located and easy walk from centre of Oatley Village.

I had a short period of time to grab some lunch and I'm really trying to stay away from fast food. Sushi Roll was just outside my hotel and it was tasty and inexpensive.The food tasted fresh. The only challenge was that there isn't any where to sit with their particular booth. If you're in a hurry this is a good find.

Have tried a number of dishes now from this restaurant and most satisfied.There broad noodle dishes are great, the curries yum; the only dish I do not prefer is there take on appetizer 'Moneybags' which i very basic and not flavorsome - the rest great.

Stayed in the Shire for a family weekend. Decided we would like Chinese food for dinner. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. Service was great. Recommend trying the pancake with Mongolian lamb as an entree.

Love the food and service here. Being a fusion of various Asian cuisines makes it so easy to find something special on the menu. I ate Japanese while my husband ate Thai. Simon was our server and was extremely knowledgeable and made the best recommendations. The portions are great and the prices are great value. Will definitely be going back again.

I never knew this even existed as its behind the main shops within the westfield and facing the Kingsway. On arrival, the staff werent welcoming at all. When the waitress finally brought the menus, there was no mention of any specials, dishes not available or any info at all. I ordered a jungle curry to be told they didnt have it. I pointed out that it was on the menu, and was told they'd run out!!! No appology from the waitress who didnt seem interested in being there at all. I asked if they have anything spicy like the jungle curry and she vaguely pointed to the menu! The meals came out staggered with a long gap between the 1st and last! Again, no apology or explanation. I'd specificaly asked for my salad to be spicy, which it wasn't. I asked for fresh, hot chillis, but instead she brought large, very mild ones! The meals were tasty though with nice presentation. The prices were a little steep for some meals and drinks even worse. I'd return for the food, but the unhelpful and bored staff and lack of any atmopshere would make me eat elsewhere.

We went here the other week and we were quite impressed with both the service and food. There is plenty of choice and there are some different choices to the usual Thai fare. The curries we had were all nice and the curry puffs were especially delicious. Would definitely go back.

I attended this restaurant with my wife and daughter for the first time tonight and was extremely disappointed. The service was extremely poor. We were initially put on a table that had a significant incline. When we asked to move they said they were completely booked yet they had two similar tables nearby that were empty. Half way through our meal they eventually moved us ( to one of the nearby empty tables).In addition:* we ordered two glasses of Chardonnay, but never received them - when I brought it to the waitresses attention at the end of the night, she said â O yeah, I will make sure I take it off the billâ* we asked for chopsticks and never received them;* we werenât aware that there were any specials as we were not offered any, so we ordered off the menu. We then saw other customers that were all offerred the specials....do when I brought this to the waitressâs attention, she said they were under staffed, and that they shouldnât accept customers who walk in off the street... I said how does that stop you from offering the restaurant specials ...I got not answer* the bill was brought out to us when we didnât even ask for it ( we werenât even offerred deserts or coffee).... when I highlighted to the staff member that as first time diners to the restaurant we were very disappointed, the staff member just took the credit card from my hand tapped the machine and said â I will make sure to let them knowâExtremely dissatisfied and will never return

A lot of Chinese chefs opened this Japanese restaurant. It's so weird and I concern if they are chefs. The food they cook is very terrible. Not delicious at all. It's not real Japanese restaurant. A fake one. They throw food for entertainment during the customers having food. A lot of food has been thrown on the floor. They wasted so much food. Many kids see this wrong example and may learn to waste food. They must stop wasting food. The rice they serve is not fresh. It tastes like it has been stored in fridge for a long long time. Strange taste and smell. The dishes are very expensive and not good to eat. Not worthy the price at all. Don't recommend to buy the voucher from group on or go to this restaurant. I will never go to this restaurant again.
