A busy Sunday so we stopped for breakfast We was the only ones in there which was a shame Food was good cooked to order will go back to try the evening food

Our family were attending a wedding nearby, and had rented a house nearby.We wanted an easy dinner having not long arrived from London. We called Cinnamons and arranged a takeawayThe food was ready on our arrival. We found the quality good , for example our tandoori chicken was moist and tasty.The resturant did appear rather dated,and lacked atmosphere Cinnamons reminded me of The India Club in Central London.One thing that did annoy was though the resturant advertised that they took credit cards we were asked for cash and directed to an ATM.

It's never easy for me to eat anything (I have an eating disorder) so I had worked myself up to this. I ordered spring rolls, lemon chicken and chicken fried rice - just to have what I could manage. Sadly I was disappointed with even what my ED allowed me. The spring rolls were crispy (good thing) but lacked flavour and seasoning. They were well filled but just bland. The chicken fried rice was, again, lacking in flavour, seasoning and all I could taste was the rice. Don't get me wrong, it was well cooked, just lacking in what you'd expect. The same theme followed with the lemon chicken - there was the merest hint of lemon but that was it.Sad experience especially as it's likely my ED won't allow this to happen for months again, but if & when it does I sadly won't be able to return. Sorry.

Another excellent meal at spice, my wife 5young children and myself really enjoy the food and there is always a warm welcome. Wouldn't go to any other Indian restaurant in this area.

Went for breakfast. Not the cleanest place. Also a restaurant but very much poor greasy cafe standard. Very very slow service although the place was pretty much empty. Toast arrived hot but by the time breakfast arrived toast was cold. Eggs could have been bounced on the floor and were burnt on the bottom. Would have sent back but had waited so long and was so hungry that just wanted to eat it and go. Someone who ordered after us got their breakfast before us. When I asked if our breakfast was on it's way, the response I got was "I think so". No apology for the wait and no smile from the staff. All very solemn. I actually started to think I was in a sketch from Fawlty Towers at one stage! I always try to give a positive review however sadly there is nothing positive I can say. Even the artwork was filthy. Certainly now somewhere we will be going again.HI, sorry if our hospitality wasn't up to our normal high standards, the staff have been reminded how to cook the best breakfasts and the importance of making sure the customers have a good experience with us. Please come again and you will find improvements!

We have had several meals delivered from this restaurant and have never been charged delivery as they advertise as free delivery with a 3 mile radius. Tonight we ordered as usual and was told £5 delivery would apply .. we explained that we have never been charged as we live 1 .5 miles away so there fore within the advertised distance . The person on the phone was rude and arrogant saying we couldnât speak to a manager and if we wanted the food then we had to pay £5 .. needless to say they have lost a loyal customer and a call to trading standards will be made tomorrow

We had another great takeaway from here tonight. The food is superb and full of flavour. This is possibly the best Indian restaurant that I have ever used and I have been eating curries since the 60's ! No need to say any more !

Thursday 17th October 2019. Dinner for 3. It's a comfortable restaurant with friendly service. Decent sized tables. Food was good too; not the spicy gloop you sometimes get at "curry houses". Kingfisher on tap is good, and certainly preferable to the Indian Shiraz wine we had (called "Soul" something or other) which was horrible - avoid that one. Get your drinks right and this is a good night out.

We were surprised to discover there are four Indian restaurants in Monmouth and the Misbah came recommended. Not busy, though youâd expect that on a Monday night. Kingfisher draughty beer ok, though we prefer Cobra which was available in bottles. Good pickles with poppadums, sheek kebab and prawn puri starters. Excellent onion bhajis and Bombay (Bengal) aloo with main courses. Chicken tikka main course tasty and substantial. Bill a bit more than we expected but a good night nonetheless.

Stumbled onto this lovely little cafe.Decided on salad and onion soup, wow beautiful.Lunchtime menu with limited thai content, although by fare the best cafe in Monmouth, recommend to anyone.4star only due to the tap water being served warm!Sometimes it's the little touches that make the difference.
