If you are local desi food lover then Frontief Karahi is the place. Order Mutton karahi and enjoy finger licking taste. It is probably the best mutton karahi which comes in small cubes. Caution: dont rush for the order. It take 30 mins for full tender karahi so be patient. Meanwhile enjoy namkeen dumba boti.Current price is Rs 1750 per kg.

Wow, i was invited by my best friend Jawed Qamar's son wedding dinner. I came from Toronto to attained the marriage. Great location, best customer services. Wallet parking available. Yummy food. BBQ was delicious. Waiters service was great. Seating was very good. I will advise all during the visit to karachi must eat here.

Bad experience Ordered crab with spring onion and ginger. The dish crab was served with the meatiest part the claws missing. Gave me a patronising song and dance about that is how crab is served in Karachi..... unbelievable.

It's a time tested more than two decades old Chinese restaurant popular amongst Karachites. Very good authentic Chinese cuisine. Dim sum, dumplings, seafood scallops prawns fishes chowman, u name it and they have it. Always welcomed by seasoned staff and hosts. We had chicken and prawns scallop dim sum, vegetables soup, chowman and spicy steamed fish were excellent and money worth.

The Pakistani is a good restaurant that offers a variety of Pakistani dishes. The ambience is nice and they even have live music with Pakistani artists on traditional musical instruments like Harmonium and Tabla who on request play western tunes too. The food is traditional Pakistani grilled and cooked meals based on Chicken, Mutton, Beef and Fish. Traditional dishes like Biryani, Handi, Karahi, Tandoori, Offals etc are offered. The fresh baked bread of the tandoor or the Tawa parathas and their combinations with yoghurt chutneys and add ons are great. A variety of traditional sweet dishes are a treat and the restaurant is a must for travellers who wish to try the spicy Pakistani food that can be adjusted to ones taste. The restaurant maintains good standards and foreign travellers with sensitive bellies could easily experience a good healthy meal.

A visit to Karachi will be incomplete without having having food at Kolachi. An ambience to savour with waterfront views and a culinary fare simply royal. Hard to choose but all the chicken and mutton fare are exceptional. I would recommend the fluffy roti paratha to go with any of the gravy dishes. One suggestion, please make prior reservations as it is really crowded during weekends. Service is brilliant.
