This is not an easy to find restaurant for a first time Sydney visitor, but worth the effort. Itâs a huge restaurant, two floors, with all the tables very closely put together. Itâs obviously very popular with locals. It was packed the night we went, but everything worked like clock work, though lacking a personable touch. They have a large food menu, and an even larger drink menu. The food is modern Asian, well cooked and presented. The wait staff seem to be trained to encourage over ordering, every table around us took home left overs. This was not so good for tourists staying at hotels, luckily we were relatively careful with our ordering.

I love an Indian meal and was not disappointed with this restaurant. It was busy but service was great and the menu choice excellent. Portion size was just right and the taste and flavour spot on. Next visit to Sydney and we will return!

Weâve been there for dinner and tried amongst others the Sashimi, Five Spice of Tofu, Chili Salt Squid, Scotch Fillet, Whole Fish and Sichuan Prawns. It looked and tasted excellent and together with a good bottle of wine, we spent a very nice evening there. Highly recommendable and very reasonable priced for the services received

The food was FABULOUS....!!! Unfortunately, despite the well-groomed and obvious experience in the wait staff, they were somewhat ambivalent toward us - each paying $240 for food alone one would expect a little warmth toward the guest....none...!!!As we sat, we were asked if we were celebrating something special to which we replied yes, we were - at no point did the ask what we were celebrating or if we enjoyed the course as it was cleared....just going through the motions of clearing and delivering the next course...!!! Scripted descriptions of the delivered food with zero interaction....!!Sadly, we had been looking forward to this dining experience for ages and we were extremely disappointed....!!!

Well itâs only been about 15 years since I have had great Chinese food without the fear of being glutened. Food excellent, atmosphere fabulous and staff attentive and funny. The kids even had a sit down lesson on chopsticks and eating like an authentic Chinese person. Hilarious with a bunch of blondes/ red heads. One of the warmest and friendliest customer experience I had. Very professional server and welcoming service at the entrance door and out. They offer a wide range of vegetarian options, perhaps my choice wasnât the best, but I wasnât impressed at all: very salty and it arrived too quickly to be made on the spot. It wasnât very easy to digest at all furthermore. After the opinions I read here I had high expectations and I really wanted to give a nice review considering the nice service, but the food just was not at the level at all.

Great TripAdviser recommendation, could not have been happier. Well worth high rating.Staff friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is located in an old church hall. Clever fit out has resulted in a well laid out space with plenty of atmosphere and good acoustics.Food was spot on. Cooked to order, clean, well defined flavours.We had tasting plate entree, excellent, and a chicken main with fried rice. A really enjoyable meal.Just visiting Sydney but will try go back.Highly recommended.

Received complimentary dessert for all my guests on my birthday. Was surprised with a cheerful happy birthday song from all waiters, pictures, a couple of gift vouchers & a present from Thai Pothong. Great restaurant in Chinatown to check out. Our waitress was so sweet as she guided us through the menu since we were overwhelmed by all the choices but wanted to get the best dishes. Food was delicious and came out quick. We also got the rose tea which was unreal.
