Keshi

Dear Keshi Friends and Family, Out of an abundance of caution, we at Keshi have made the difficult decision to temporarily halt walk in store service until further notice due to the Covid-19 Health Emergency. Our website will continue operations as usual. The gallery also open for email or telephone orders as well as private Zoom shopping appointments. Established in 1981 as a co-op for Zuni arts and crafts, Keshi has always maintained personal relationships with individual carvers, jewelers, and potters. We continue to buy directly from the Zuni people. Our reasonable prices and complete authenticity reflect this. We host one of the largest selections of Zuni fetishes in the world and we feel honored to be involved with these kind and generous people. We welcome you to call or visit Keshi and experience a Zuni connection for yourself. Elahkwa (thank you in Zuni)

The quality of the native art is excellent. Many of the pieces are actually museum quality as examples of navajo, hopi, and zuni items, especially the pottery and fetishes.

Charlotte Jackson Fine Art, established in 1989, has a clearly defined and highly respected program that affords collectors the chance to see a wide variety of color-oriented painting, and sculpture. The gallery is located in the Santa Fe Railyard Arts District and specializes in Monochromic painting, Light and Space and California Modernists. Among the artists represented by the gallery are such well-known painters as Anne Appleby, Charles Arnoldi, Joe Barnes, John Beech, Edith Baumann, Alfonso Fratteggiani Bianchi, Max Cole, Constance DeJong, James Howell, Bill Jacobson, William Metcalf, Ed Moses, Pard Morrison, Elliot Norquist, Michael Post, Winston Roeth, Johnnie Winona Ross, Michael Rouillard, Paul Sarkisian, Regine Schumann, David Simpson, Phil Sims, Heiner Thiel, Jeremy Thomas, Clark Walding, Joan Watts, and Peter Weber. Like so many contemporary art galleries, this gallery has more floor space than wall space. I always wonder about that, but also like many galleries they have lots of art that isn't on the walls and you just have to ask for it. Specifically, ask to see the small, low cost items which is a hallmark for Charlotte Jackson. Definitely worthwhile.

Gerald Peters Gallery

Reviewed By S827KFjoew - Houston, United States

My wife and I have bought four paintings here in the past. We stopped here to replace another inherited one but had nothing in mind. They have great directors to work with you. We had gone to most galleries on canyon road, Taos and downtown Santa Fe. This is a large two building complex, impressive in its own right, but a must see for both naturalism and contemporary art. Do not be put off, go! Did we find something? Sadly no, but there is more time. ????

Manitou Galleries

Manitou Galleries is one of the foremost galleries in the West, with locations on Palace Avenue just off the Santa Fe plaza, on the famous Canyon Road in Santa Fe, and in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The galleries offer the finest collections of contemporary representational paintings, sculpture, Native American and fine jewelry, and our experienced and knowledgeable staff is always friendly and accommodating.

We were vacationing in Santa Fe and always interested in looking at contemporary art. The Manitou Gallery has a wonderfully broad collection of art, and artists who are extremely creative and unique while still representational and accessible. Also, a great place to find good regional art. We found a painting we liked by Sushe Felix and were able to view it in a separate area. That made it so easy to decide. We were just enraptured by the painting! Very friendly and non-pressured customer service.
