Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely experience is Cassa de montabalno. Maria the housekeeper was amazing. Very helpful friendly and when we arrived we had to organise a Covid test. She organised it with the help of Ivana and we were very happy that they helped us. Maria was a source of information and arranged us to go on a day tour on a Montabalno Day Tour with Nunzio the taxi driver. We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone who loves the tv show. Only negative was we missed the season and not many restaurants were open but we didn’t starve. We bought our food in the local shop and ate on the balcony in the evening. Thank you for having us!

Mimmo is a superb driver and guide. Informed, considerate and kind, he drove us across Sicily and revealed the character and mystery of Sicily to us along the way with intelligence, good cheer and humor. His English is impeccable. During this drive we will have the opportunity to learn the geological history of Sicily and especially of Etna.We will visit one of the most stunning parts of Etna's lower crater (we could visit top craters but there is an extra 63 x person for cable line service to pay). We can take the option to have lunch in a stunning location near old extinct craters and take more walks after lunch. After Lunch we will move on to explore inside Lava tunnel and then we'll drive to the viewpoint of the giant old caldera of the Vulcano, or instead head off towards one of Sicily's best vineyards of Etna wine, this testing will cost an extra of 30 Euro per person and include a light lunch with Four wines combined delicious typical sicilian food, its also possible to have vegetarian version and children menù on request. Today we visited the Grand Canyon of Cassibile with our Guide Carlos. He is a very nice guy and tells a lot of things about the nature in the canyon. He speaks English very well. We had a nice swim and dive experience in the river. Thanks for the nice day.

I and my wife went on a private tour of Noto, Modica and Ragusa with Alessio, the owner of Sicily Grand Tour. Alessio is a native of Sicily and speaks very clear English without any Italian accent, which is a great plus; particularly when he has to drive the car with his mask on and speak. He is very knowledgeable not just about Sicily but also gave informative tidbits of faraway cities like Trieste in the northeast of Italy. We found him very personable as he was always keen to engage in conversation, enthusiastically clicked our pictures with a DSLR, and of course took us to the best spots in each of the three towns. I can easily recommend him for Sicily tours as his communication/approach right from the time I contacted him via email/whatsapp until the very end of the tour was prompt, clear and amicable. SD

We visited Sicily for approx a month in January. We decided not to drive ourselves and used a company called Taormina Transfer. They are extremely flexible and will do as little as transfer you from Catania airport to Taormina or arrange a trip all around Sicily with day tours like they did for us. Always on time and very pleasant. Maria and Massimo were great and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend them.

If I could have selected an option of zero I would have chosen that. 1 is too kind. This ‘private’ boat excursion is basically €80 (not €75 as you have to pay a shed load of tax) to get a 2 hour bus ride then you are stuffed onto a packed ferry full of angry tourists who have been sold the dream but in reality, it was a nightmare. The islands are ugly, busy and I simply have nothing good to report. You are left to your own devices and any swimming options are limited/poor. The ‘food’ in the port areas are all fatty/greasy tourist muck and not Sicilian cuisine. It’s just naff and utterly unenjoyable. I beg you to take this all in, otherwise you will lose a day of your holiday. D O N ‘T DO IT!!! Regards, Ilana, 35, London

We were picked up by Theresa who was our fabulous guide. She was phenomenal and very accommodating. Her knowledge was spectacular and she made sure that we got to see everything. Would definitely hope to Come back again and use lemon tours and Theresa! Tour was great, Savoca was beautiful and the scenes were the movie was filmed still nostalgic. Fantastic tour experience.

Wonderful week of cycling in south east Sicily visit g lots of towns with wonderful Baroque architecture. Ciclofree were a delight to work with. Easy to set up the tour, great communication, easy transport from airport to start/finish, all luggage transfers were smooth and the hotels chosen were all high quality.
