Dropped by for breakfast with my Dad. I had the Chorizo and eggs. Nicely done. They have their own home made picante salsa and it was very good with the eggs. Great service, food came out quick. Prices low and portions plentiful. This is in a strip mall, so kinda have to search for it, but they do it well!

Open for breakfast or lunch with good service. Lots of tasty options to choose from. Today I went for the two egg ham and cheese omelet with country potatoes and sourdough toast. Other half went with the soup and sandwich which was also really good.

We've eaten at Cool Hand Luke's many times and always had a good experience until this past December 21st. We were seated in an area with few people. Server was pleasant and chatty. We ordered cocktails. Our salads were okay but had brown lettuce. Then we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. Server said she was going to kick the cook. Three tables that came in after us received their food while we waited. Our food arrived, it was cold and the steak was to be medium well and was well done which caused it to be dry. Shrimp was overcooked and chewy. Server never asked how it was so we could complain. We had to get back on the road so went to pay at hostess station who passed it to the server, again no one asked how we did. For an expensive date night meal we were terribly disappointed. Called to speak to manager to see if something could be done. NO RESPONSE was given so I'm posting this review. If a long wait, cold overcooked food is what you want then you might like this place. Terribly disappointed to be treated this way, if asked we would have complained but no one was available to talk to, phone call not returned. $85 for drinks and meal for two, too expensive to leave feeling like we didn't matter.

Really good food. You can tell they put thought into the menu. I had their special that week and it didn't disappoint. Excellent service as well compared to other restaurants in the area. A little outdated decor and overall cleanliness could be better, but still nice place to go for good food. They have an outdoor patio area as well, which is great.

Consistently fine quality food at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is "quaint" and has no frills with becoming noisy on weekends BUT if you want a good meal with good service, this is great local place to find it.

Weâve lived in YC 10 years, always heard this was a great place so we finally tried it. Clean place, good parking. Didnât go in the bar side of the house but the restaurant is nice (considering youâre in YC). I had the Blue Cheese and Bacon Burger and it was one of the best things Iâve had in a long time. My husband had the chicken club and enjoyed it. The salad thats included is very nice. Our friends both had filet mignon and while they said the cut of beef was great, very tender they felt it lacked flavor. Might have been improved with a butter or mushroom topping. Prices are what youâd expect for a steakhouse. Think itâs better than the other (franchise) option in town.

Absolutely love the salad bar. Lots of fresh salad options and delicious soups as well. The steaks are tender and really tasty but unfortunately they canât cook them right. The Happy Viking is a nice sports bar in the "old town" section of Marysville/Yuba City. the restaurant is on a nice tree-lined and redeveloped older neighborhood, surrounded by many shops for stretching on your road trip to or from the Sierra Nevada. If you are a sports fan, there are plenty of flat screens, so you hare never craning your head. Also plenty of great bears on tap. I had a spice cheese sandwich, which was loaded with freshly cut onions, tomatoes and lettuce. The food was very good, the service friendly, and the location perfect to break up a long drive and find that there's usually plenty to be seen out on the road!

Ate here on a Saturday morning. We arrived a little after 9am we were greeted and seated quickly. Then we waited nearly 10 minutes before our server acknowledged us. Seemed like lots of staff around but not our person. We ordered right away but thinking that if she just takes our drink order it will be another 10 minutes before we see her again. It was 30 minutes after we ordered that our food came out!!! When we left there was quite a line in the lobby and at the door.

Just A little surprised it rated so highly. The place is good. This place is large and can accommodate larger groups. We had a family gathering of 12 and they did really well. Never felt rushed while we waited for everyone to arrive. Something on the menu for everyone from steak to pasta to salads to pizza. Appetizers were good too.
