This was a nice upscale little restaurant with a European/Costa Rican Menu. Unfortunately the neighborhood (Mall) wasn't upscale enough to support it. Olhaf's is shut down, shut up, out of business, closed, defunct, extinct, no more, nonexistent, not open, sold, finished.

Went to this place tonight, we usually go to another place close by for the view but decided to try this place. Menu was a lot more extensive. I had the grilled ribs, wife had tuna.Rib was pretty good, potato good and the salad was good, they do have Olive oil n balsamic, big plus.All in all it was a good meal, the only negative was the wiater, bigger guy, was kind of rude. Don't know what his problem was but he was short and maybe impatient? Maybe needs some customer service skills training.

The view from this restaurant is beautiful and the place is very clean and spacious unlike many restaurants. There is good parking so definitely worth the walk.drive.bus ride out . Food is varied and presentation is with care. Clean bathrooms, amazing wifi and the owner likes to welcome his guests. I had a typical Costa Rican dish which was tasty and well prepared ( I am a fussy eater) ad have eaten here a few times.

Sorry to say that La Riviera Tropical Pub recently closed. I dined here with family and friends several times a month. It was a favorite restaurant of my family but just didn't get quite enough business to make ends meet. I wish the owner Douglas and his staff the very best in their new ventures. I thank them for some very good food and very good times.

I could have sat there all day, trying different beautiful coffee drinks. They were all presented so beautifully. They have food, too, but I was just passing time while waiting for someone and using the internet. Their kitchen was busy, as though they were filling orders for catering or takeout.

Good food and satisfactory service, but this was the only restaurant in San Isidro where the 13% restaurant tax and the 10% gratuity were not included in the menu prices. This happens occasionally in San Jose, but there the restaurants always posted that tax and gratuity were extra. Once I added the additional 23%, the prices here turned out to be considerably higher than I had paid elsewhere.
