This is one of the newer Chili's we've been to, and it's very clean and nice. The menu is the usual Chili's menu. Some favorites are the fried cheese curds on the appetizer menu, which come with a great dipping sauce - delicious. Their chicken bowl is also a favorite and I always bring some home for another meal. Good wine, reasonably priced. Always busy it seems!

Wow, we have tried a number of fried chicken fast food places over the last few months – Church’s, Chicken Express, Golden Chick, and now Popeye’s! Let’s see how this one stacks up!Om: I think we may have found a new winner! Located right across the street from a Wal-Mart, this location kind of stands by itself. On a Sunday evening we found that the restaurant was clean and the service friendly, with something like seven employees working behind the counter. Cool with me, our food came out pretty fast because of it. I had the mild chicken tenders, and I gotta say that they might have a slight edge on other fast food fried chicken places because the tenders were, on average, larger than other places we’ve been to recently. The taste was about the same, good crunchy outside and tender meaty inside. The fries were very good, and the plain biscuits there edge out the honey biscuits and Church’s – it’s kind of like a breakfast biscuit, nice and heavy, kind of like a dense Grands biscuit – it was just wonderful. Popeye’s might be a bit more expensive than the other places, but you get some good value. Another big winner in the fast food fried chicken industry! My wonderful Nom chowed down on some shrimp sandwich thing, how was it Nom?Nom: I went to a Popeye’s chicken place YEARS ago when I was in New Orleans. In a galaxy far far way…a long time ago…like 20 years ago… I remember it being WAY to spicy for me and I had to eat biscuits…which are amazing…totally amazing… ok back to reality! We had the boys so we decided to try out Popeye’s that opened up here on 380. Typical fast food interior, not anything that would say “sit down and stay a while” but clean and bright. I had the shrimp po boy…and I am so glad I did!! This was really good!! TONS of fried shrimp and a really nice roll. I requested extra lettuce and they actually obliged! This was one really good sandwich! I’ll totally have it again! We ordered the boys the chicken and shrimp meals and they LOVED it, ate every bite of chicken and shrimp! And of course they loved the biscuits too! I actually liked this better than any other place for fast chicken we’ve been to…Cant wait to go back with the boys and my handsome love!!!

Grabbed a couple of sandwiches to go earlier in the lunch rush, and they were ready to serve! Made my sandwiches just right, were friendly, and most importantly, they didn't skimp! Also, the sandwiches had the telltale sign of a caring Subway franchise - fresh bread early in the day! I'm glad this is my neighborhood Subway.

Hutchins Bbq

Now as anyone from Texas knows BBQ can be pricey. Hutchins is no different. I don't mind the "Buy by the 1/4 lb" but I would appreciate having an idea of what that might look like. They post prices but you really don't know if its quite enough to eat, so you order it, they cut it fresh and you get the shock when they slap the price sticker on your tray! Now the food is delicious, fresh but expensive. So be careful when you order. They post prices by the 1/4 lb so beware when you say "1 lb please", that's 4 times the price posted. Nice place overall, like the small tray idea for the sides, little like a cafe style help yourself. Lots of seating. Would go back but order more cautiously.

Stopped in downtown Prosper for a quick bite and boy, what a pleasant surprise. Whether it’s the burger, the club sandwich, The meatloaf or the pie, the love is cooked in, just like home! The sweet tea is sufficiently “southern sweet” and the real-deal, Prosper hospitality shines through. Stop on in and grab a bite, you won’t be disappointed! In a landscape of increasing chain restaurants, it’s nice to have a local establishment to run to!

We always try somewhere new for valentines. We started off with the crab cakes which were small, think large scallop size but tasty. I had an off menu item of 3- 4 oz medallions with a different sauce on each and my girlfriend had a 12oz filet. The steaks were cooked to perfection and tasty. For sides we ordered the spinach, brussel sprouts and agratin potatoes. The sprouts were fantastic, the potatoes were good, too cheesy for me but tasty and the spinach wasn't worth more than a bite so our server removed it. Our server was fantastic, JT was one of the best parts of the restaurant. We probably won't be back because it's in frisco but it was tasty.
