We stopped in on a late September Sunday afternoon for lunch. We both had the local burger with onion rings - thay were excellent! Our server, Yvonne, was very friendly and attentive throughout. The place is on the Huron River and it was great fun watching the boat traffic go past! The site includes a very good dock that one can moor at while having a meal.

Has a new name now the Rustic Oar not sure about management. My husband and went for drinks and snacks. Located next to a hotel on the water way. There is indoor and outdoor setting along with a full service bar outside with tv's. The drinks were mixed just right and the bartender was friendly and chatting. We ordered soft pretzel sticks with honey mustard. They came out warm I could have ordered more. Great little bar.

We stopped here on a whim, since it was a place we haven't tried. Pros:Really good staff, attentive and pleasant.On the boat basin, so good if you're looking for something within walking distance of the Marina.Cons:The food. It just wasn't great. We had the nachos, walleye tacos and Cuban pork tacos.The nachos were the exact same you'd find at a gas station with the exact same cheese and salsa. Both kinds of tacos were just meh. Would never order again .So, without being overly harsh, this place is probably a safe bet for fried food or burgers, but I can't recommend the stuff that isn't general public grub.

Salmon Run Restaurant at Sawmill Creek Resort never disappoints! Not only is the atmosphere warm and inviting and intimate, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing. We thoroughly enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views from the restaurant, which is upscale and clean. Our servers are always attentive and personable, adding to an enjoyable dining experience. The menu is varied and attractive; our personal favorite is the pretzel encrusted chicken, which is DELICIOUS! Another favorite at Salmon Run is the absolutely wonderful cranberry bread, which we not only enjoy with our salads and entree, but also with our coffee following dinner! The restaurant in this resort in Huron, Ohio is nestled along the shores of Lake Erie and provides a beautiful beach, marina, hotel rooms, conference center, indoor and outdoor pools, fire pit, children's activities, and more. But Salmon Run is the gem restaurant located at the heart of this must-visit establishment in northern Ohio! ~B & B

Looked nice from the outside so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, didn't even look our way. Wasn't sure how things worked and we noticed people ordering from the counter. The attendant was friendly with a warm smile, which made me feel better about our initial entrance. We ordered and found a nice small table. The food came out in a timely manner and I thought the pizza tasted great and presented well. The wings looked good that I ordered but were a tad small and were a bit soupy/gooey. The taste was fine, just not my preference of texture. The waitresses that do check on you could come around a bit more frequently and ask if you needed anything further. Overall though, I thought it was a different but nice experience. I'd return.

Bar North Bistro is located on the North course of Thunderbird Hills Golf Course. This bistro opened in 2010 and it is one of our favorite restaurants to dine.The dinner menu is abundant with appetizers, salads, soups, signature entrees, burgers, sandwiches and house made desserts. The bistro is an ideal place to meet your friends on a weekend night or to get a quick week day sandwich and a craft beer. My husband ordered fresh grilled salmon, red potatoes and broccoli which he enjoyed. I ordered the special of the day which was grilled halibut. I opted out of a starch and ordered broccoli and spinach. The house made crème brulee was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner.

This place is off the beaten path, but a Huron classic. If youâre visiting the area and want a taste of the local flavor, stop in to the Sand Bar! While it feels like a shot and a beer joint there are many families that enjoy dining on Pizza, burgers, fries.

From the time we walked in the door until the time we left we were treated like family. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The pizza had plenty of cheese and was very tasty. We would definitely go back again if we are ever in that part of Ohio.

Was on our way back after visiting some wineries in the area, and decided we wanted to stop for supper. Did a U-turn to track back to Angry Bull. Arrived at 8 p.m. and there were only 2 parking spots open & only 1 table. Great variety on the menu, good service, very tasty food!

We were not disappointed by the recommendation from the Comfort Inn front desk person. Berardi's is a friendly, casual, sit-down restaurant with a nicely varied menu. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the tasty food that you receive. They smoothly accommodated my gluten-free requirements. Wine and beer served. We would definitely return if in the area again.
