Stopped in for lunch with a Vegan friend of mine. First time for both of us. They were very patient with us trying to Help us with the menu. They have a huge selection of juices and smoothies but also a food menu. The place is super cute. We ordered lunch and waited about 7 minutes for our food. It was very fast! The Tacos and Taco salad were awesome! Really liked the potato salad as well. The avocado rolls weren’t very tasty, needed seasoning or something, lacked flavor. The true star of the meal was dessert! OMG...both the cheesecake and the double chocolate pie were to die for! Honestly if you didn’t know they were vegan, you wouldn’t know! So good! Can’t wait to go back and try more...and get dessert again :)

We made a special trip out to the Fire Hall for lunch having driven by a few times and being curious. The inside is done nicely with memorabilia and comfortable seating. Our server (Kaylee) was more than helpful with the menu and in no time we had ordered and were relaxing with a couple of drinks. The food was quite a large portion, well prepared and very good (a couple of burgers with sides of mac&cheese). The food and one drink each was $60. We were impressed with everything and will certainly make a point of coming back. If you haven't been, you should give it a try.

We went here for lunch and had a hard time deciding what to order as the menu has lots of options and is varied. One of us had the shrimp, fries and salad, and one had the fisherman's platter. Both were delicious. Good dinner salad. Great service. Will go here again to try the breakfast items.

Stopped in here with a friend for lunch on Monday. Great menu, with something for everyone. Their bread is fantastic. I had a grilled sandwich, with mozzarella, tomato and pesto and asked that the bread be sliced thin due to my braces, and they were happy to oblige. Great service, fantastic food, and a lovely view from the patio out front. If i was local, this would for sure be a regular spot! I hope to make it back some day to try out the breakfast menu.

We met some friends here for dinner for our first time at this restaurant. I had a drink special and didn't care for it. It tasted more like a strong cough syrup. I had the prime rib and my husband had the perch. I didn't like that everything was ala carte so if you wanted a salad, it cost more. The prime rib was good, the perch was a small portion. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. We just were disappointed as our dinner was expensive for what you got with your meal.

We enjoyed dining outdoors on a beautiful Saturday evening, watching the sunset over the lake across the street. This place is dog friendly on the patio. The burgers were delicious, but unfortunately the service was terribly slow and they were out of several items, Including dessert. I gave an average rating because the burgers were so good, in spite of the service, which hopefully will improve.

A step back in time--wooden floors, brick & wood walls & a tin ceiling. A smallish space but comfortable--wooden tables & chairs. Service was good, prices were reasonable and the food was tasty & good. Hot dog was very good, my Harvest Ham sandwich was very good and was a generous sandwich at that. Both were severed with a pickle spear and plenty of crunchy chips. Broccoli cheese soup was very good & served hot.

This was our third time visiting this restaurant in this historic town. We were excited once again to sample the food and enjoy this place which is a throw back in time. However, we left very disappointed and dissatisfied. We order the three course meal which included a soup, salad and entrée. First of all the waitress was unable to figure out which salad belonged to which person and we were only six people. Two people paid an extra $7.00 for an upgrade to have an onion soup. Although it was presented with a high pastry done on top of the bowl, the soup in general was nondescript and lacked the flavor of most onion soup. However, the tomato bisque was thick almost like a sauce more than a soup but was a much better option. Three of us ordered the rack of lamb and three ordered the duck. Once again the waitress put the wrong entrée with the wrong person.. Two of the person felt that the duck had been over cooked and not moist. The three people who ordered the rack of lamb quickly discovered that most of the bones were devoid of any meat, mushy, fatty and for $39.00 inedible. I had ordered this dish year and raved about the chops. I had partially tasted the vegetables and potatoes but when I called the waitress to complain about the meal, she quickly swooped up my plate to take it to the chef to show why I had complained. She never returned with the vegetables or potatoes so I could finish eating at least that portion minus the chops. First we were told that there would be no charge for the three meals and I was ready to order and share a duck when she came back to say that half the meal would be deducted. Every year when I come to Michigan I always plan a special trip to Holly for this dining experience. Due to the poor service and lack of concern to make us happy as customers, we will not return

When arrived in Michigan, our friends took us here for lunch. We all had burgers and these were very large and flavorful. These were well worth the trip here. There was lots of cold beer to top off this hole in the wall restaurant. I do highly recommend this place for lunch.
