This train station was kind of a zoo on a Friday early evening since there are so many Amtrak and MARC trains coming in and out but there is a metro so that makes it convenient to get to by metro or bus in DC. The Amtrak train I was catching was delayed but luckily they do have plenty of food and drink options and I really enjoyed the Mediterranean food from a fast casual place called Roti that I got before getting on the train. It is a pretty station with lots of options - just be aware there will be crowds at prime commuting times.

The food is hit-or-miss and Mike has resisted including many vegan or vegetarian options, despite a growing range of tasty options. It's geared towards folks who like a super loud (aka "vibrant") atmosphere. I prefer to hear my table mates.Been going for 20-some years. Love the shop and his leadership in the community, but we've found the restaurant lackluster, given the growing options.

This institution right next to the Capital buildings sits within walking distance to Union Station and Senate Offices. Beautifully decorated in the traditional DC milieu you feel like your in the power stop of decision makers. Kennedy used to eat here and there's a reason....it's great. Shout out to Nick who makes you feel welcome like your part of the family. Food was great ...got the crab cake dinner, filet mignon, and pork chop. Wonderful and tasty. This is a must stop.

Highlights: Fried Arancini. Fun Theme, Casual atmosphereDetails: On a friday night, we were seated immediately. As we were first timers, our server spent time explaining the menu and also brought us sample appetizers as a first-time experience. I enjoyed the Arancini — it was one of the sample appetizers. I ordered the pear and apple salad with bleu cheese. It was just okay. My husband had the burger — he enjoyed that greatly.I think the theme and the prices matched up. It's not unique, but a reliable place with lots of dining options.

My wife has several food allergies so before traveling to Washington D.C. from upstate N.Y.we researched lunch options. This restaurant had many choices without soy and dairy ingredients. She had a great lunch but I had an awesome lunch with no dietary restrictions. The flavors of the ingredients in my wrap melded together to create a delicious sandwich. I had a wrap with spicy lamb meatballs, tzaziki sauce , hummus and various other ingredients including fresh mint leaves. My wife also had a wrap, with falafel, Kalamata olives and tomatoes. We both opted for cups of ice waters but were amazed that we could eat anywhere in this city for a mere $16. We did walk a little ways from the capital mall area but would do it again to eat here.

After visiting a nearby museum, my husband and I were starving, so we popped into this place for a late lunch. They have an extensive menu with numerous options including breakfast all day. They also have a variety of alcohol options as well as a wide variety of alcoholic shakes. I went with a cup of chicken noodle soup and the crab benedict while my husband had the avocado toast. For dessert, we shared the s'mores tart, which is a homemade poptart. All the food tasted great - not 5 star quality, but still quite good. The portions were a perfect size. Prices are great for the DC area. Our waiter, Thomas, did a good job. He kept our water glasses filled and did not take forever to bring the bill.

You go in, choose your crust, whatever toppings you'd like and pay $10. Super simple and the pizzas are large enough to stretch into leftovers for the next day. They have vegan options too which is nice.Highly recommend.https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g28970-d2343625-r696915999-ZPizza-Washington_DC_District_of_Columbia.html#

Interesting well-prepared foods ( Come on lychee nuts) two wonderful pastas and dorado, check. Nice joint, reasonable wine list. Check, check.Seamless and different from anything else we have had in a couple of years. Not exorbitantly expensive, sacre bleu!
