We booked the restaurant a couple of days in advance and we truly enjoyed the meal, the ambience, and the entertainment (during the meal serving as well as after the main course)! Highly recommended for families with kids; kids (and adults!) can also hire/buy ninja costumes and wear during the meal :-)

Nadaman Shangri La Hotel Tokyo

A little disappointing on the whole. Very slow and not particularly attentive service. The food was quiet good overall but far from being exceptional as we all had hoped. The fact that we were sitting underneath the air conditioning did certainly not add to our well-being. Tried once, won’t try again.

From the presentation of the dishes, to the explanation of where the food originated from, this was an incredible experience from start to finish. Yuuki is very welcoming and he takes immense pride in his preparation. Each dish is completely different and very flavorful. I would highly recommend the sake pairing as well. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Tokyo.

My son really wanted to try Kobe beef- he is an avid steak afficionado. 511 did not disappoint: much more reasonably priced than other restaurants we looked into. Recommended by our hotel. Excellent service, modern and well spaced tables for ambiance and the meat was superb. Had the 100$ usd and 180$ usd fixed menu- the gelatanized soy sauce for the meat topping was excellent and creative. definitely enough food! Would look forward to returning
