we spent a couple of hours there, talking and enjoying excellent coffee (not easy to get in this reagion) and a most memorable cake.A friendly waiter, nice ambiente, all you need is a little bit of time.

Brandmarken is half cafe, half shoe shop. I haven't bought shoes there, but the cafe has become one of my favorite places in town.The main seating in the cafe is shabby-chic and feels like you're in someone's home. There's even a guitar hanging on the wall if someone feels like playing. (As a matter of fact, there are occasionally free or inexpensive concerts there.) Large picture windows overlook Schlossgasse, so it's easy to people-watch and wave at friends.Inside, there is a very wide variety of drinks - anyone can find something they'd enjoy at almost any price point, from plain old coffee to beers from small breweries to Proviant smoothies. In addition, there are small snacks and cakes from Koriat in Weimar.In the year or so that it's been open, it's become one of my favorite places in town to meet friends.

Pretty solid breakfast for reasonable money. Nice athmosphere not only in the morning.....you should try to avoid high season because it is packed with tourists..... Make a reservation or be just lucky. Would recommend it for breakfast and drinks in evening. Food for dinner is ok but there are better places on Weimar to have dinner.

Das Cafe liegt sehr schön, die Einrichtung hat auch was...Nur die Qualität: schlechter Capuccino (Brühkaffee mit Milch) in einem Teeglas, höchsten mittelmäÃige Kuchen bei schleppendem Service;Als Dekoration für einen herzhaften Crepe (am Nachbartisch gesehen) dienen kleine Salzstängchen;-)

Bruno´s Eis Cafe hier ist der Gast nicht nur König, hier fühlt man sich königlich zu Hause!! Empfangen wird der Gast herzlich und familiär, ohne Zwang und Drang. Gisela ist die Chefin des Restaurants, die Mutti der Speisen, Getränke und viel wichtiger â des Eises!! Die Eisspezialitäten sind so wertvoll im Geschmack und erst in ihrer liebevollen Gestaltung â Gelehrte würden Gedichte und Loblieder dichten!! In der Küche verzaubern âBruno´s Feenâ Lebensmittel zu vollmundigen Geschmackserlebnissen!! Hausmannskost die besser als bei Mutti schmeckt ( nun gut bei Mutti koche ich ;) ) Voller Stolz kann ich sagen:â Dankeschön meine Gute für diese gelungene Gaumenfreude!!â Zu Euch kann so mancher Restauranttester kommen und viel lernen!!! Ich komme wieder versprochen !!!
