The food was great.
Staff was friendly and food was served quickly.
Didn't have taste for BBQ so I asked if they had a hamburger, they did and it was very good.
Assorted sodas by the can and everything is served on paper.
Very funky atmosphere with a bathroom I hope I never have to use again
The good news is they are building a brand new restaurant next door.
I'm sure this will cure that side of the business, and hopefully the food remains the same.
Please throw in a parking lot.
Definitely worth the stop.

I always stop here when I'm in town. Results vary. At times it's the most crowded DQ that I've ever seen. On this trip I was able to avoid the crowd but it still took almost 10 minutes to get my food in the drive through. The burger was good but the fries were not edible.

Stopped at Van' Bar-B-Que on a local recommendation. I had the three meat combo & my wife the two meat. We both thought it was great tasting & nice portions. The meal came quick so was a great stop for us traveling though Texas. My recommendation would be ribs & sausage. Both tasted wonderful

Stopped here for dinner after a South Texas trip. Service was top notch. They had a number of daily specials in addition to BBQ, Mexican food, Chicken Fried steak. I had a special Grilled Pork Chop. It was very good with added sides of Corn and Green Beans. My wife tried the Mexican food , which she said was adequate.

go hungry! a dinner order is large enough for two people, and two orders will provide plenty of leftovers. very good quality and the largest menu I've seen in a Mexican place in years. friendly staff. lots of locals eating and taking out. breakfast would have been nice the next morning, but the parking lot was completely full! must be great.

We were traveling from San Antonio to Corpus Christi on a weekend break and decided to hit the back road through Three Rivers to look for lunch. I love to find the places where the locals eat and we stumbled on this very charming place to eat.
Very local, very authentic with great food - I am almost temped to drive out there again one day just for lunch.
Prices are very good (two plates of food for $9.45), the food is excellent real local food and the staff were very friendly.
Nothing fancy but it is clean and wholesome.

Typical McDonald's co-located with LOVE TRUCK STOP along Interstate 37, so there is ample parking for travelers with RVs/travel trailer rigs. We arrived about 130p on a Friday and this McDonald's was slammed as there isn't much else to choose from in the area.

I had the buffet. It had three entrees and a number of sides. It also came with salad bar and dessert for about $11.00. The buffet was on its last leg as it was almost two in the afternoon. Because of this it was not as fresh overall as would have been earlier. If I were coming in this late I would have ordered what my wife had, which was a chef salad. It was one of the best looking chef salad i have seen and my wife loved it. The table next to us was four ladies and they all had different kinds of salads. They all looked as interesting as my wife's. If you come in at the end of the buffet service try the salads. I know i will.

This is not a free standing building, it is big trailer that is hard to miss. It is located in the parking lot of the Lowes Market (grocery store). Pull up to the trailer, order at the window, and 15 minutes later your pizza is ready for pick-up. Not your regular business hours. Opens late afternoon into evening. Pizza was you would expect from Pizza Hut.

This was a standard Subway Sandwich shop. The sandwich artists were friendly and prepared the sandwiches quickly. Food was good, vegetables were fresh. Location is convenient, right next to a Corner Store truckstop. Restrooms for the Subway are in the Corner store. Acceptably clean.
