This is a great overnight option. Usually cheaper than airplane tickets, less stress, options for tax free shopping, jacuzzis and saunas. You can buy WiFi onboard but avoid mobile internet as it’s in international waters (expensive). I use this as nice opportunity to take a break from the phone and internet. Very relaxing.

Our opinion is that Molslinjen generally has too few departures to Ebeltoft, and those few departures should have another time of departure,eg. missing a departure on Friday afternoon to Ebeltoft and Sunday afternoon back to Odden. There has been a large campaign with signature, but it doesn’t seems to be of any help. In other hand, we mean that Mollinjen is an excellent ferry company, and I would like to elaborate. We were on a departure from Odden to Ebeltoft on Sunday morning, where my mother who is almost 87 years old, did not feel well, with vomiting, etc. We checked in on time, but expressed that we had an older lady who needed assistance. We were met with the best service from the crew, they gave us a wheelchair, and one the crew helped us up to the "lounge" deck. They really showed competence and care so we felt safe, and they follow up on her several times during the journey. Thank you very much to Molslinjen, and espacially to Ivan, who made us feel safe in the situation. We really appreciated this.
