Things to do in Zealand, Zealand: The Best Concerts & Shows

January 26, 2022 Vergie Nakamoto

Denmark's largest island is so much more than simply the home of the country's dynamic capital, Copenhagen. Zealand also offers a delightful array of holiday homes and villas, pleasing harbors and sandy beaches, fringed by forests where castles lurk. Major destinations include the UNESCO-designated, Dutch Renaissance-style Kronborg Castle in Helsingor and the Viking attractions, cathedral and music festival of Roskilde. To the south bobs a flotilla of beautiful and relatively untouched islands.

Jazzhus Montmartre

We went to see Spöket i Köket (Ghost in the Kitchen - they are self described at nordic-canadian inspired lounge-rave folk music) at this venue, on a Wednesday night. It is a small club, some tables at the edges and row seating in the middle. Great, unusual music and a great venue! If you like jazz and are in CPH, try to see a show here!

DR Koncerthuset

Reviewed By tsv01 - Aalborg, Denmark

This was our second visit and found the main hall just as impressive as the first one. The show piece was DR Symphony Orchestra's rendition of music to secret agent movies. Just fab. Last time we had seats on the parque and were bit disappointed with the view. This time we chose Fourth row on the First level, excellent view of stage and the 100 strong full symphony Orchestra. One learn from experience. Absolut must place to vist.
