It is located on the west coast of Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, roughly due north of Dar es Salaam across the Zanzibar Channel. It also serves as the capital of the Zanzibar Urban/West Region, and qualifies as a district, formally known as Zanzibar Urban District. In 2002 its population was 205,870.

So for our honeymoon ... zanzibar was the destination and the park haytt is the best hotel in the best location in stonetown.. this review is not about the hotel but about the massage service we received.. the place is immaculate, the service is a+ excellent... our service was provided by Sakina and her staff... her customer service and care was second to none. The massage was excellent and rival any i had before.. my wife was delighted with the service .. i highly recommend her services specially after a long fay of exploring stonetown.

Very effective traditional Japanese massage, I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommending to everyone who seeks muscles stain relief. Exceptionally good!

My daughter and I decided to visit Mrembo Spa today and it was marvelous. We booked the beauty experience which involved making a spice body scrub, preparing coconut for beauty products, a massage, full body scrub and then a henna design. We were there for almost 2.5hrs. The staff were wonderful, great English in the workshop, fab massages, freshly prepared scrub. Can't recommend it more highly. It should be on the main excursion list in all hotels as great value, great learning and a lot of relaxation

I like deep tissue massages to be strong. Lisa Meela is very skilled at deep tissue massage and her place feels so professional. I was recommended to go here by a very happy client and I was not disappointed.

I have been to Hassan Balinese SPA had 90 mins full body massage, it was really excellent experience. I had totally relieved my tension due to a hard work week. The SPA located opposite of Serena hotel stone town , very easy to find it , the therapist are from Tanzania and Indonesia they do traditional Balinese treatment, very professional treatment and good service. The SPA have good facilities it's a 5 star hotel standard SPA. SPA manager Amik she is from Bali Indonesia, had great experience with luxury five star resort working experience. Trust me she will always made sure perfect treatment for different body requires. Thanks Amik and your team.

Very serious spa, great skills in massages. I highly recommand the manucure and/or pédicure by Samuel, which is amazingly professionnal. I confess I did not expect such a quality in Zanzibar, as it is among the best services i ve ever had in this matter in the World, and for a very decent price.
