I self planned our trip to Cuba and deliberated whether to hire a car, take the Viazul bus or arrange a taxi service to travel between the various destinations. Eventually I decided on a taxi service. We arranged 6 journeys with Taxi Viñales. Whilst the expense was considerably more than the other options I hoped it would be compensated by peace of mind. Our trip coincided with the arrival of the coronavirus outbreak. Initially the holiday went well with all transfers going smoothly. The drivers arrived on time and were really good. As the virus impacted more on the island we needed to change our travel plans both in destinations and pick up times. All of these were accommodated by Taxi Viñales with the minimum of fuss. They were really good at responding by text and email at very short notice. This was just what we needed to keep us sane in the chaos that was occurring. Arriving home I chased up a refund that was due to us on account of the government restricting the service the firm could provide and us cancelling some of the trips. Juan immediately processed the refund with no fuss. All in all, albeit quite an expensive option, our choice was a good one. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning such a trip when this madness ends. Well done Juan.

Rent a vintage car and go around for 6 days to Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Vinales. The Cuban driver is so polite. Speak very little of English. It would be advantage if I know some Spanish. Very on time and came early every morning.
