Pick up a fly rod at the Orvis Manchester Fly Fishing School, situated in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains, and you'll be casting like a seasoned angler in just two short days of classes. Our expert instructors help you with everything from setting up the rod, to fly selection and knots, to how to safely release your catch. Fishing classes are held in our brand-new schoolhouse directly across from the Orvis Flagship Store, on our fully-stocked casting pond, and out on the famed Battenkill River.

At Sugarbush Soaring we offer flight instruction, scenic ride, rentals, introductory flights, and aero tows. We are open seven days a week from May to October. They create beautiful handcrafted French-style cheese made from locally sourced organic Jersey cow's milk from Sumner Farm. Spoonwood Wine and Cheese Shop is where you can find all of their cheese varieties, straight out of the aging caves, as well as a hand-picked selection of wines from the best wine growing regions of the world. They have recently opened Remedy Wine Bar next door to the creamery, where one can find an extensive menu of creative small plates, charcuterie, beautiful wines by the glass or bottle, and of course, cheese!

Green Mountain Falconry School allows visitors an insight into raptor conservation, the falconers' world, and the birds that occupy it. Master falconer Rob Waite has been practicing falcony for 30 years. GMFS offers introductory handling lessons and Hawk walk programs. Experience the exhilaration of handling and flying a trained Harris Hawk in the beautiful setting of Vermont's Green Mountains!

Contemporary craft gallery and open artist studios, open five days a week, just two miles north of Brattleboro, Vermont. Home of Natalie Blake Studios, featuring handcrafted ceramic tiles and vessels, and Solinglass, featuring hand-blown glass sculptures and vessels. Come see our glass blowers in action on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and tour both studios and meet the artists any day of the week.
