This campus has interesting architecture and mountain views and is home to the T.W. Wood Art Gallery.

I graduated from Vermont College in the 1960s. Back then it was a two year school for girls offering associate degrees. Now it is called Vermont College of Fine Arts offering master's degrees. My daughter recently moved to Montpelier, so when I came to town for a visit, I took the time to revisit the campus. Much to my delight, except for the new sign on the quad, the campus looks exactly the same as when I attended. Quaint, charming and quintessential New England. It sure brought back many great memories. What a lovely place to pursue a degree.

Visited the farms based on the reviews everywhere on the internet and wasn’t disappointed ! The property is huge and offers miles of trails where you can either interact with animals , watch maple trees tapped or marvel at the beautiful inn and the barn . I must say I think the farm offers the best view of the lake . Be prepared to spend at least three hours when visiting to truly enjoy the views offered by the farm .

Middlebury College

What a pretty college campus! It's pretty much the whole town of Middlebury and sits right in the middle with residential streets radiating off it. It was nice to walk around the campus and see the old buildings, beautifully manicured lawns, and student life. Go to the Mahaney Museum of Arts in the Arts building- great little gem.

University of Vermont

Having graduated from UVM in the late 1980's, I have recently gotten re-acquainted with "Groovy-UV" through my son's enrollment and attendance there as an undergraduate. A lot hasn't changed. But so much, that is so important, has. Starting with the Wellness Environment (WE) program (Google it!), the new teaching practices that emphasize hands-on learning, diversity, and collaboration, the new STEM facilities, and the relatively new Davis Center complex. Most impressive is the incredibly understanding and supportive leadership and staff in Student Affairs (Annie Stevens, Joseph Russell,...) and WE (Jim Hudziak, Jeff Rettew, ...). Nearly everything important about the UVM experience has improved dramatically since I was a student, and I am very proud and happy that my son chose this institution to attend.
