Uva Province (Sinhalese: ඌව පළාත Uva Palata, Tamil: ஊவா மாகாணம் Uva Maakaanam) is Sri Lanka's second least populated province, with 1,259,880 people, created in 1896. It consists of two districts: Badulla and Moneragala. The provincial capital is Badulla. Uva is bordered by Eastern, Southern and Central provinces. Its major tourist attractions are Dunhinda falls, Diyaluma Falls, Rawana Falls, the Yala National Park (lying partly in the Southern and Eastern Provinces) and Gal Oya National Park (lying partly in the Eastern Province). The Gal Oya hills and the Central mountains are the main uplands, while the Mahaweli (Sinhalese: great-sandy) and Menik (Sinhalese: gemstone) rivers and the huge Senanayake Samudraya and Maduru Oya Reservoirs are the major waterways.

I travelled with Dush in Dec 2019. There were two of us, my husband and I. Dush was definitely safe and honest and brought us to the places that we requested and also did some recommendations along the way. We first planned our itinerary and sent him thru whatsapp on +94 773884173 so we could have a plan and discussion. He took us on a 8day 7 nights travel and it was truly fun and enjoyable. He also took us on an additional off the beat path trip to visit his old house and we met his wife and kid. An amazing experience through and through with Dush!

Myself and my two sisters did a tour of Ella with Indika. We covered Little Adams Peak, Flying Ravana, Nine Arch Bridge and Demodara loop. Going again for Ella Rock. Indika is very knowledgable about Ella sights, fauna & flora, the best paths and also good places to eat and activities in Ella. Demodara loop was a surprise and so much fun. My sister had difficulty in walking on rough terrain and Indika was very helpful. He is punctual and courteous. We had a wonderful experience of Ella with Indika, and I would recommend him to anyone visiting Ella.

Dinuka is an awesome guide.He is professional and fun. He has great knowledge about the history and geography of the place,the flora and fauna,ans even the hidden gems of Ella.He knows very well to handle his guests and is one of the best at what he does.This was our first long hike and it wouldn't have been easy without him.

6. One nights and two days trek in Knuckles Mountain
Pick up from Kandy at arround 07 am and depart to Knuckles Mountain Range via Mahiyanganaya and undertake a trek where you can have a scenic view of Sri Lankan rural villages. We had such an exciting day. Picked up early by our driver and driven to the park in a jeep. We saw so many animals up close but seeing the leopard was an amazing experience as it walked right in front of our jeep!! Our driver collected a lovely Sri Lankan picnic for lunch which we ate beside a fabulous beach before heading black out on safari. Very well organised trip.

We totally enjoyed our two treks.The first was through four different tea plantations. The scenery was beautiful and our guide was very good. I really liked that the treks were just the two of us and our guide. The second trek was through different villages in Bandarawela. We met many different people along the way it was a real cultural experience. We had a wonderful guide and were invited into her home for tea. When our trek was finished we had a wonderful lunch prepared by Deen’s wife. Both treks were non touristic; it was exactly what I was looking forward. I highly recommend this experience!

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.
