Spanning 2,800 miles (4,506 kilometers) from east to west, the US is a vast patchwork of landscapes and metropolises. From Arizona’s red-rocked canyons and California’s coastal beaches to New York’s big city and Virginia’s storied past, it covers any topic any traveler could want or need.

Burr Trail

Old cattle trail which is accessible by 4WD vehicles.

Reviewed By 931dianeh - Topeka, United States

This was an amazing ride, ending at the park boundary for Capital Reef, with the Waterpocket Fold viewed off in the distance. Go slow, then go slow again on the return, because it looks so different seeing it in reverse. So much to see, massive red rock walls, slot canyons, cottonwood groves, wildlife, echo chambers, meadows. This was a late afternoon ride for us, departing from Canyons of Escalante RV Park. At the tiny town of Boulder, look for the tiny sign indicating the start of the Burr Trail Road.

One of the highlights of our Michigan trip!! Loves learning about the ecology of the dunes, enjoying the fun ride, and laughing at all the corny tour guide jokes!

It's not nothing. We drive this pass to earn our first jeep badge however we were not prepared for the terrain because people say how easy it is. It was exciting and terrifying for those afraid of heights.

You definitely need a vehicle with high clearance or 4 wheel drive. It was an interesting ride getting to our destination but once there it was breathtaking, amazing, and just inspiring. All this beauty created by wind, water, and time.

Some of Florida's best mud holes and ATV trails..... The Spring Sling (Dysfunctional Family Reunion) had some of the best Freestyling I have ever seen. The park is well managed and there is plenty of room for camping.
