Pick up upon our arrival went smoothly. The driver was on time and safe. The return, however, was a different story and not a way we wanted our lovely holiday to end. We requested a pick up that would have us at the airport two hours before our scheduled departure. We received word, after the driver was already 20 minutes late picking us up, that our driver would arrive momentarily, so we waited. And we waited, and we waited some more. Our hotel called the driver and was told he was in an accident and that a new driver would be arriving soon. This wasn't true as the original driver FINALLY showed up one hour and ten minutes late to take us to the airport. Again, our amazing hotel called the airlines and told them we were on our way. The airlines said they'd keep the desk open 15 minutes late for us (and they did). We literally JUST made our flight. It was an anxiety-filled, nerve-wracking and very upsetting one hour ride to the airport. The worst part is that there was no explanation from the driver or from John at Mauritius Booking as to why he was late and why they didn't inform us earlier, so that we could have used the hotel airport service or called a taxi. We paid in advance, but I would have paid another service for peace of mind. I don't like giving such a low rating, but the communication after this debacle was non-existent and frankly very, very disappointing.

We are a company based at Belle Mare, in the East coast of the island providing a unique experience with parasailing flights. Each parasailing flight lasts for about 10 minutes. However the whole activity may last for about 30-45 minutes including the pick-up form hotels, the briefing and the flight.

We booked a dolphin trip on the beach from our hotel for the next day with „Olivier“ who told us he works for Tino Boats. We paid 100,- € in advance for the trip. But unfortunately the wheater went bad and the trip was cancelled because of cyclone. We still had three days on the island and we were told by Olivier every time to get back our money. On the day we left Mauritius he wrote us he is still very busy and will deposit our money on the reception. Unfortunately that didn‘t happen as well. I wrote him every week from Germany and I was told to wait for the money. After a month he told us it has been finally transferred. Further three weeks later we still haven’t received the 100,- €. Now after two unsuccessful months we lost our hope to get back our money. Very sad moment for us to be laid from Olivier who always guaranteed us we can always trust in him. This negative moment put the positive things from our holidays in the shadow - too bad...

Being an Indian, I had no issues hiring the bike and riding it, since Indians can do so with their Indian driving license. They arranged a bike right in the morning and the Price was for the full day and a Half tank fuel. which we refueled since we went all over the place. One must explore Mauritius streets on a bike.

Yesterday, I went on a catamaran trip all day long with friends. It was my first experience on a catamaran. Our Sunday started so well with a great welcoming by Joey, with the blue sky, good temperature and the professional guys. The crew are well maintain and not to forget the delicious food and with a very caring service. We were 18 persons on the crew. I would thanks Jerry the capitan for this wonderful journey and his 2 assistance Joey & Oliver. We were taken to the waterfalls, then had a great time of snorkeling and after having lunch were taken to the island île aux cerf where we spend a leisure 2 hr. Special thanks to Joey that take good care of us, always had a smile on his face, all the time asked us if we wants something to drinks, takes picture for us. I highly recommended u guys. U are amazing, hats off to u. ???????? From, CSU Mandarine group Baie du tombeau.
