Just got back from the Flyfishers International Conference which was held at the Boise Center this year. The Center was a great venue for the meeting. The facility was well maintained, a great location, and the support staff was professional and guest-centered. Conference rooms had good IT support and equipment. The Grove Hotel staff were superb and the rooms nice. The hotel was under renovation and the usually outstanding restaurant was tucked in an inconvenient location with poor access and a limited menu. I would just be aware if you go before mid November when hopefully the renovation will be over and the usual excellence will be back in place with a great new dining facility and a new lobby.

We were at the Grove Hotel which made it really easy to go to the game at the attached Arena. We loved the atmosphere of the arena and the great fan following of the team. The arena is a wonderful venue for a hockey game. An added treat was that after the Steelheads scored their first goal, fans threw out stuffed animals onto the ice, I think as a program for needy kids. Very neat! We loved being at the arena.
