We booked the hiking tour to Drangarnir. It was a great hike despite the wind and rain. We took our 8 and 11 year old. Some parts are steep so don’t take young kids if they are not avid hikers. It was about 14 km the whole trip. The guide was nice and shared info about the area when asked. The hike is easier then the ole postman route if you are wondering on the degree of the hike. It’s not hard it’s just long. Great hike and worth seeing!

Very grateful for David for going through with the tour even though several participants cancelled and I was the only one left on the tour. We had a wonderful visit to all the highlight locations of the Faroes, including Saksun, Tjornuvik, Gjogv and Kirkjubour. David is super knowledgeable about the country and is happy to share all that knowledge. We also made several extra photo stops and our bagel lunch on the beach jn Tjornuvik was tasty and fun. There is also free time in several spots so you can wonder around at your own pace and take lots of pictures.
