I booked Nordisk Taxi service from Alicante airport to Torrevieja as they were the cheapest on an internet search. Not sure what to expect but I was so surprised. The driver was at the arrivals hall on time (early in fact as he rang me to say he was there whilst I was caught in the new UK arrivals queue :-(.) The driver, who I found out owned the company, was brilliant. Took my case and walked me to the car. He would not let me load the case and my bag into the car instead opening the car door and asking me to get in. He loaded the boot. We drove to Torrevieja listening to Eric Clapton. On reaching the outskirts of Torrevieja I asked if he needed directions. He said no, “it is all in here” pointing to his head. When we were close to where I wanted to be dropped off he said “we are about 200m away” and then described the complex I live in. He dropped me off right outside my gate. I cannot fault this service. Not the usual taxi service who just sit in the car and ignore you. If you need a transfer from the airport use Nordisk Taxi service. You will not be disappointed.
