Lake Annand Park

Lake Annand is one of Toowoomba's feature parks. It includes a large man-made pond that has been landscaped into an attractive water area including a fountain. The tranquil lake is a focal point of the park and this combined with the lush green lawns and gardens surrounding it makes for a beautiful park outlook. This, coupled with barbecue facilities and amazing children's play areas, makes the location a popular one for picnics, get-togethers and small events. It is also popular for wedding photos and is home to two significantly large-based Queensland bottle trees

I love visiting this park with my kids and letting them run wild on the huge range of equipment. Pirate ships, big all abilities rocker, slides and more. Great for bday parties and looks stunning in the autumn.

City Golf Mini Golf & Driving Range

Reviewed By Squasheee - Toowoomba, Australia

This is a great facility for the whole family. The putt-putt course is very well designed. It is definitely challenging and excellent fun. The driving range is also very good. Only problem is that you can’t use long irons or drivers (or you might hit the hospital) ???? Would be perfect for a group social outing. Food and drinks are also available, or you could have a hit then go across to the club for dinner.

Garnet Lehmann Park

Playgrounds, barbecue facilities and skateparks have been closed following the outbreak of the coronavirus. This will be reviewed following recommendations and advice provided by the State and Federal Governments. Garnet Lehmann park is a popular park which forms part of the East Corridor. It links the Water Bird Habitat to the south with Lake Annand and Joseph Leadbetter Park to the north. This park has three different areas including a children's playground and seating, a native bushland area which couples as a detention basin and a designated dog off-leash area. The 2.8 ha, un-fenced dog-off leash area is a popular area for park users to exercise their dogs. This shaded area is located between the children's playground and the detention basin. Dogs have access to water play with West Creek being located adjacent to the park. The dog off-leash area is designated by signage and bollards.

This is a friendly community park. I love walking here with my dog. It’s just beautiful. Everyone will have a chat and the dogs often play together.
