Tiberias (/taɪˈbɪəriəs/; Hebrew: טְבֶרְיָה‬, Tverya,  (audio) (help·info); Arabic: طبرية‎, Ṭabariyyah) is an Israeli city on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. Established around 20 CE, it was named in honour of the second emperor of the Roman Empire, Tiberius. In 2016 it had a population of 43,148.

The history of how this boat was discovered, recovered, and preserved is well explained and is amazing. The video is short and to the point. Seeing the actual boat on display was so interesting. This place is well worth the time to visit. And by the way, the gift shop at the site is one of the better ones.
