The Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake were designed by mountain bikers and built by the international mountain bicycling association. It's a premier single-track mountain biking trail system located in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, near Lake Raystown. There are 24 trails in the system that are arranged in such a way that it gives riders endless combinations with each new ride. Whether you are mountain biking, hiking, trail running, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, it allows you to personalize the length and distance of your route. The trails are rated "easiest,” "moderate,” and "most difficult”. They can all be safely ridden by users of all skill levels. Helmets are not only suggested but required. The views along this drive were simply spectacular. Rolling farmland and trees as far as the eye could see. Highly recommend on a clear day.

Sandy Creek Trail

Reviewed By K7557DLdougm

My wife, grandson, and I rode this trail during the summer. The history of this trail from the old railroad days makes this a fun ride. I only wish this trail were continued into Clarion County to add the two tunnels and bridge located there. The bridges, especially over the Allegheny River and tunnels, along with the beautiful scenery, were well worth the trip. When we finished, our grandson asked if we could do more fun rides like this again.
