We have been there a few times and enjoyed each time. My daughter who doesn't often like to do family activities loves it and looks forward to doing it each time we come up. this time we were a large group of 8 people. We played the Salem witch game. You have to go around the museum finding clues and solving puzzles. The one we played we had to guest 2 people in the group who were the witches. The witches could also put curses on other players. For each puzzle you solved you eared coins. At the ed you put coins in a box to vote for who you thought were the witches. If you guested right, they were burned at the stake otherwise the one with the most coins was burned at the stake . Our group included a grandfather, mother and father, uncle and aunt, and three adult children. The museum is in Destiny Mall which also has many other forms of entertainment in it.

Skating here is always a great experience. We try to do it at least once a year. This year is a little different where you have to make reservations and only 9 people are allowed on the ice at a session. The sessions are 1 1/2 hours and well worth the money. I have my own skates so I can't tell you anything about how the rentals are. The tree and christmas music are wonderful and the people working are incredibly friendly.

Even with the playhouse and planetarium closed due to COVID, there was plenty to do. We brought our 2 year old. He loved all the live animals, animatronic dinos, and the interactive play centers. There was a live animal show where they brought around 3 animals for the kids, and adults, to touch. Snake, tortoise, and armadillo. Down side were the out of service restrooms. There are 3 through the building. 2 were out of order. We spent 2 hours there, but would definitely spend 3 if everything were open.

5 Wits Syracuse

5 Wits is cutting-edge, live-action entertainment that immerses you in realistic, hands-on adventures! Located in Destiny USA, we have four adventures: Tomb, Deep Space, Espionage, and Drago's Castle. Your Adventure Awaits!

Reviewed By Nicolellyn - Syracuse, United States

I have gone here twice now and loved both experiences! I went once with my family - a group of 5 adults - and another time with just me and my wife. It was definitely more challenging with just two of us, but we were able to complete it. If it's raining outside, or you want an adventure out of the heat in the AC, this is an awesome, unique way to have fun! Great way to use your brains and bond with your friends and family (you'll definitely be laughing throughout the whole thing). Some rooms are more challenging than others; I'd recommend starting with the castle/dragon one if you've never done it or have smaller children in your group. Either way, a great time for everyone! Highly recommend 5Wits!
