Wonderful place to go whale watching (there is a viewing platform) or just enjoy the view. Fantastic place to take photos with natural bush land surrounding the walkways and great sandstone clifftops.

This is a lovely walk along the for shores which I have done many times scenery of the ocean breeze off the water is so very pleasant I personally would recommend this walk

We went to Kurnell to take a look at the new sculptures on the foreshore. As we were walking along we came across a love stone memorial with bench dedicated to Sir Joseph Banks. I remember learning about him in Primary School and wondered if they still do today. With Captain Cook’s Landing spot just nearby this is a lovely slice of history.

Great area to sit unwind and enjoy the river and waters edge, lovely park to cater for the young family very safe and inviting, has a wonderful play park area for children with modern play attractions. Across the road from the Park is the Boatshed cafe which has wonderful food and the best coffee at great prices, sit inside or on the Billabong edge such a great atmosphere. if walking is your passion, their is a great walk along the River or up through the Deep Water Estate winding in and out of exclusive Riverside bungalows, great walk and enjoy the architecture.

For a good day's adventure, leave the car at home and walk! I made the journey from Heathcote to Woronora Dam using the Pipeline Trail and Woronora Dam Road. The walk through the bush is very pleasant, with a side trip to Mirang Pool. The dam itself has great views.
