We had a vacation to Utah. We enjoyed seeing the Wasatch Mountains as we were staying in Park City. We also visited Sundance. There is hiking, biking, exploring, picnics, events in the summer. And in the winter, its all about winter activities like skiing.

Mount Timpanogos Trails

An excellent area for hiking.

I think this is one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on. The leaves are turning in early Oct and they look like their blazing on fire. Only a few people on the trail. A steep climb but worth every step. Consider carefully if your afraid of heights as the trail is narrow with deep drop offs. Breathtaking views ,waterfalls and lake.

My family attended the Full Moon chair lift ride on the full moon on Halloween! Not only was the view of the full moon fantastic (we were lucky to have clear skies and milder temperatures), but the overall theme of Halloween, haunts and spooks (actors, costumes, effects- like a haunted house) were absolutely mesmerizing, well done and completely fun and entertaining throughout the ride! We had reservations and dinner at The Foundry Grill prior and loved it! We can't wait to do it again, and are hopeful they will have that next year! ????????

Stewart Falls

Reviewed By jennlovesfood - San Diego, United States

I absolutely ADORED this beautiful hike during the fall in Utah. We went fairly early - about 10am and the trail was not very crowded. It seemed more crowded later on our way back. The hike was not easy in places but it was not extremely difficult either. Most of the hike was level but there is a tough climb down and then back up once you get to the falls. Some of the trail is quite rocky. You definitely need good hiking boots or good tennis shoes to do this hike - do not attempt it in flip flops (we saw someone who did this and was struggling). We also saw a few people who did not make it out to the falls and had turned back. You need to be in decent shape to attempt to make it all the way to the falls. The payoff for the hike is STUNNING!! Steward Falls is just gorgeous. We waded in the pool beneath the falls for awhile and watched dogs and kids playing in the water. It was nothing but pure joy in this spot. There were riders on horses taking pictures by the falls which was fun to watch. I think this hike took much longer than it should have because we kept stopping to take pictures. Everywhere you looked was a beautiful picture. This is not a bad thing but leave a little extra time to really enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous spot.
