Our First sightseeing stop. There are two routes to Lake Toba. One is through the scenic mountainous terrain via Berastagi and the other is on a highway to Tebing Tinggi followed by main roads through Pematangsiantar. We chose the later to get to Toba at a shorter time and also to specifically stop by this place as the kids always like to see animals. This is a small privately run zoo. Simple enclosures but, animals look quite well maintained. A good array of animals.
