Learn about the local culture and life on the smallest Virgin Island. Highlights of the tour include Cruz Bay, Annaberg Ruins, one of St. John’s premier historic sites, Leinster Bay Trail. The Annaberg Sugar Plantation is a partially restored but the most intact sugar plantation in the Virgin Islands. It keeps the memory of the grueling times in 1717 when slaves were forced to work on the plantation which resulted in a revolt in 1733 which led to the abolishment of slavery. Then we head on for more sightseeing adventure on to The Caneel Bay Overlook. It was discovered and built by Laurence Rockefeller on 1956 while sailing on a family cruise. This luxurious hideaway is accessible only by boat/ferry and its beaches are widely considered to be among the best in the world.Enjoy beach time at Trunk Bay. Relax in the sand, rent some snorkel gear or bring your own gear to explore the self-guided underwater world.Lunch stop is optional at your own expense.

We really enjoyed Star Fish Tours. Our tour guide was born and raised on St John. She talked a lot about what it was like to grow up on the island and how locals used the flora for natural remedies, along with giving a thorough tour of the island. It was absolutely fascinating and I highly recommend to anyone. If it’s your first time, try to book one of the tours early in your trip. It will help to get your bearings.

Depart St. Thomas for a visit to the smallest of the US Virgin Islands, St. John, and take in the history of the island as well as its majestic natural beauty on this half-day tour.
