What a fantastic day! Our tour guide, Shane, was knowledgeable and showed us all around the island. Some of the day's highlights included seeing 3 koalas!!, ospreys feeding a chick at their nest, a feeding frenzy beneath the cliffs of the Gorge Walk at Point Lookout, and a visit to Brown Lake. Although it was hot outside, the bus' airconditioning gave us a break

Of course spotting the Glow Worms was the highlight but seeing the waterfall under moonlight and walking through a rainforest by torchlight was a close second. Although the moonlight affected the main glow worm viewing, our guide was able to take us further along to find a lovely colony. The coffee and cake was delicious and the restaurant was very interesting and welcoming. Pickup was punctual and reliable on both Southern Cross tours that we did during our stay on the Gold Coast.

Honestly 90 dollars for what they offer it’s a rip off! You expect something different from the pictures they have on their website, but it’s totally different. Nothing spectacular. At all. You don’t see anything that you see on their pictures. You travel two hours on the bus to pick everybody up from their hotel, and you spend the same amount of time when you come back. The tour lasts 1/4 of the time that you spend on the bus. I would not recommend to do this tour, you can probably find something better to do with all that money. I don’t usually write bad reviews but I really regret having taken this tour.

The campsite is very close to the tangalooma shipwrecks also a quick 1 minute walk to the beach. Wayne the tourguide was very genuine and takes into account that his clients experience the best of Moreton Island not no mention our safety. The guided snorkelling was the highlight of the trip as Wayne knows when is the best time to snorkel. The sand boarding is also the best because he made sure we enjoyed it and showed is the proper way slide down the sand dunes. The meal was camp site style and my tour mates and I were starving after a full day of adventure. Wayne even made sure that we had bonfire to keep us warm as we star gaze on the campsite and had a bonus of marshmallow to make s'mores.
