Located in a picturesque setting at the mouth of the Gaspereau Valley, we are Nova Scotia's only malt house. We make the most important ingredient of beer using the time honoured method of floor malting. Enjoy our panoramic view as you enjoy our beers which are made from our malts. Live Celtic music every Saturday 3-5pm.

A group of us, (8) took the short drive out to the Hard Honey beverage company, while visiting Tatamagouche. The owner spent time explaining his process and aspirations. There was a picnic table outside where we sampled the drinks. We really enjoyed the Mojito flavour. More importantly, we supported a “Small Business “. Worth the very short drive. Call first....

Tatamagouche Brewing Co. is a family owned & operated organic craft brewery located in the heart of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. In 2014, we converted an old butcher shop into a community brewery where we make small batches of tasty, hand crafted, organic beer. 2016 Canadian Brewing Award - GOLD MEDAL - Russian Imperial Stout 2016 Canadian Brewing Award - GOLD MEDAL - Giantess Barley Wine 2016 Canadian Brewing Award - BRONZE MEDAL - Two Rivers Baltic Porter 2015 Canadian Brewing Award - BRONZE MEDAL - North Shore Lagered Ale Let's Raise a Glass to Pure Tatamagoodness!
This is a small craft brewery with a wide selection of choices. It has a friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

The best spot in the Annapolis Valley to watch the world's highest tides! See the Cornwallis River as it empties to expose the river bottom while enjoying a cold brew and some hot food on our taproom deck, or on our wharf. Experience the amazing tides, take a tour of the brewery, shop in our retail store for swag, growlers and canned beer, or sample our selection of brews. Make your trip to the Annapolis Valley a memorable one!
We originally came this way to go to Sea Level Brewing, but after realizing they dont do tastings in their store area, and waiting in their restaurant front hallway while people who worked there walked by various times with no regard for us, we came over to Wayfarer's. So glad we came here instead! We walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly girl who asked us if we were there for the beer. When we said yes she gave us some tastings of a couple different beers and then we bought a flight. They have a really unique way of pairing candy with their beers, and we tried a cider with sour skittles dropped inside of it. So cool!! In our flight we had the Hellene, which was a German Blonde Ale. It was very smooth. We tried the Sassy Ginger and My Grandpa's Pilsner...which was a lightly bold and crisp beer that tasted really interesting. What a cool experience coming here. Too bad it was a dreary and overcast day, otherwise the view of the river out the large windows in the tasting room would have been that much more better.

Such a unique spot. I love local breweries. We found it by accident when we wandered up a street. Beautiful outdoor patio. They sell their flights in different size choices, 5 seemed to be the perfect number. They have such a unique variety of beer, as well as cider! They don’t serve food on spot, however there is a food truck right beside that you can bring to your table. When we were leaving there was live music being set up, if we didn’t have other plans we would of stayed for another round. We took a 6 pack to go and a very unique haskap berry wine in a can. It’s perfect chilled. I defiantly recommend a stop at this place if you are around the Mahone Bay Area.

The misty fogs of the rugged coastal town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia is home to the Heritage Brewing Company. Where the rocky cliffs meet the pounding surf you can find the unique flavours hops and grains used by this brewing company. Founded in 2017 by 4 friends, they join a long held Maritime brewing tradition by making great batches of high quality craft beer.

Very large selection of beer and cider on tap. The staff were friendly. It is unusual to have such a variety of locally made ciders. The cranberry cider was my favourite withe ginger one a close second.

Taproom located in the town of Shelburne. A large selection of craft beer, beer to go, coffee, espresso drinks, food, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer merchandise. Small, independent, (untraditional). Our Beer is Legendary
Boxing Rock offers a great and wide-ranging beer list, and serves flights, which we love so we can sample as many offerings as possible. Their brews have won many awards and we could see why! Big patio with tables and umbrellas, but they do not allow dogs :-(
