I don’t understand how anyone could leave a negative review of this retreat. My experience here was life changing and one that I will cherish forever. Everyone’s intentions are pure and heartfelt. The teachings and teachers try to help you in any way they can along your spiritual path while teaching you how to mediate with an open heart and so much more. There is magic that happens in the room and it truly is gift from God if you allow yourself to be open to what they have to offer. I will forever be indebted to Hridaya Yoga and their teachers for all the help and love they showed me during the part of my journey with them. Thank you for genuinely caring about all of us and guiding us along the path to unconditional love.

My wife & I enjoyed a wonderful “couples session” at Temazcal del J yesterday. After reserving a time over the phone the day beforehand, a cab was sent to pick us up at our hotel (we had to pay) - good thing as the spa is tucked back in a neighbourhood we’d be lucky to find our way around. We were greeted by Monserrat, who led us through the 3-hour session with the assistance of 3 others. Between our very limited Spanish, her limited English, and some translation at the start, we were “taken on a spiritual journey”, connecting with our past, each other, our inner selves, and Mother Earth. It was recommended we bring the skimpiest bathing wear to change into, and I’d add that it ought be not “new”, as it may get stained by body rub paste. After we changed, she gave us an intro while we sipped some cooled tea, explaining the parts of the session to come and their importance to our connectivity to the sacred within and all around us. She led us through a very romantic moment that felt like a repeating of our vows, and then we entered a small “sweat lodge” to help “draw out & shed the negative” within us. Intense! We followed that with a time of meditation and a cooling shower. A paste of either chocolate, coffee, oatmeal, or red clay dust was spread over all exposed skin while we sipped a sweet warm tea, which we washed off under a warm shower. This was followed by a fabulous full-body massage. Heavenly! We finished with another cup of warm sweet tea and fresh fruit while Monserrat concluded. A taxi was called for us and we gratefully paid. 780 pesos CASH per person - well worth the experience, regardless of how deeply one connects spiritually. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Is an ancestral practice by The zapotecs to clean The three bodies: The energétical,The physical and The emotional body. We use many mixtures to clean The skin pores and thru them feat The body with all The natural elements we are going to use. Traditional Temazcal accompanied by a guide at all time for safety and comfort during 1h to 1h And a quarter aprox. We work 365 days a year UNDER APPOINTMENT. We can arrange transportation service from Hotel - CEVIAREM and CEVIAREM - hotel. It is always a pleasure to welcome in a family atmosphere and trust.

My husband and I did a Temezcal for the first time (with the herbal bath), and, based on reviews (thanks all) decided to go to Ceviarem Temazcal. The whole family was wonderful. Blanca was great at follow up and communication before we got there and in explaining the experience when we arrived for our appointment. Her husband performed the Temazcal ceremony. He was kind and patient for several of us that had never taken part before. We learned a lot about Zaptotec culture and the Temazcal experience through this process, and also felt cleansed, peaceful and wonderful throughout the ceremony and afterwards. We are grateful to Blanca and her family for sharing their culture and expertise.

Excellent massage salon! I tried a few places downtown but Cielo Azul is definitely the best and that's why I keep coming back. The masseuse is very professional and benevolent, using quality essential oils, listening carefully to your needs and making you feel very comfortable. She is one of the rare masseuse who were able to ever touch my feet as I am very sensitive there! The salon is sparkly clean and the hygiene is very well respected. I also appreciate taking appointments via whatsapp, it is fast and easy. I recommend 100%!

Isabella worked on my ravaged traveler's feet and made them beautiful. It was a full, 2-hour session. This place is very professional and uses state-of-the art tools and techniques. The setting is relaxing, and it's conveniently located near Centro.

We booked a couples massage and it was wonderful! Both of us had the most amazing massage, got rid of all the knots, aches and pains and felt so relaxed after! These two ladies are absolutely amazing, better than any massage I have ever had. Would highly recommend adding a massage here to your vacation plans!
