The Roman Edifice with Mosaic

Reviewed By davidh400 - New York City, United States

These are REAL ROMAN MOSAICS along with other edifices from the time Constanta was Tomis! This is not some mall in a prefabricated section of a tourist spot on some highway. Real history and real ancient people made these artifacts, so treasure them and the experience of seeing them. Be humble. There were cultures and civilizations before you.Look and see how people made their world of 2 millennia ago. You will feel better and be smarter.

Great Synagogue

Reviewed By Vladimiramirela - Mississauga, Canada

At the end of a street in the old area of Constanta, the former Ashkenazi synagogue stands in ruins. The walls are the only remaining testimony of the beauty of the Jewish community's heritage in this area. The roof and part of the interior walls had collapsed, and the structure of the building is damaged. Even in its current stage, the remains of this building stand proof of its past greatness and it is still worth paying a visit.
