There is something for everyone at The Emporium- Our most recent attractions are Escape room games. Themed rooms with clues and puzzles to work through to complete a challenge, you've only got 60mins- can you beat the clock?? (Bookings essential via our website) The 18 hole Mini Golf course at The Emporium is set in a lovely sheltered location away from the road. Recently renovated, this course is a lot of fun for all ages, surrounded by native plants and mountain views. Look out for the resident cat Poppy, she may even help you knock that ball in the hole! The Emporium also has a 4 Tap rigger station selling the latest craft beers produced by Emporium Brewing. The long term plan is to have a full brewery installed here in our warehouse but until that time we will continue to contract brew the bulk of our beers in Christchurch with the exception of a few limited release 50 litre batches brewed on site here in Kaikoura. A true icon of the South, we are the oldest continually operating Brewery in New Zealand, and the only site to have an historic Brew Floor and state of the art Brewery housed within the same location. After an extensive remodel in 2017 we are now excited to be able to offer a range of Tour packages to suit our diverse market - we can cater for groups of up to 100, as well as individual travellers and those wishing to experience a private tour. Out standard tours are 60 minutes in duration, followed by a 30 minute tasting session - we will even show you how to pour the perfect glass of Gold Medal Ale. The Speight’s Brewery is also the spiritual home of New Zealand’s biggest beer brand, attracting over 25,000 visitors per year to experience the “Pride of the South”; as one if Dunedin’s most popular tourist attractions we are looking forward to welcoming you to our iconic experience. Local Craft Brewery, Est. 1998. Beer Tastings available as well as Brewery Tours every day at 2pm. We have a Bar and Off License sales available in our Tasting Room, situated at the Rear of the Transport Museum shop. We can also fill your Flagons and Growlers with our delicious Craft Beer!
