Located in the center of the city, it is a must to visit. Beautifully preserved. Free entrance to the cathedral, though you need to pay to visit the museum and the tower.

A visit to Det Gamle Apotek is a must if you are in Southern Denmark. It is particularly lovely (and busy) at Christmas time, but they sell Christmas decorations all year around.

It is a great place to study and to visit. One could quickly notice that it is very much 'student centered' with a lots of space for reading and group discussions. Alsion is not only a university, it also has a concert hall, very nice kantine (more of a restaurant level than a students' fast food) as well as a clean room - one could see from outside how researchers work and develop nano structures. Next to Alsion one could also seat on the grass and enjoy the view as well as go for a walk down to the 'large bridge' and admire the Scandinavian architecture.- houses there must be quite expensive.
