My fiancee and I recently attended a 3-day golf school with Skip Malek. I am a ten handicap and my fiancee is a relative beginner. Skip was FANTASTIC. He was patient, practical, no-nonsense and really focused us on the very beginning on the fundamentals we needed to improve both of our games. We saw improvements in our games immediately and we continue to improve as we practice on our own. Skip used cameras and swing technology to give us another perspective. We have these videos on our phones and review them often, which is very helpful. On top of all that, Skip could not be nicer. He is down to earth, friendly and generous. He even offered to review future videos that we might send him and give us tips. We highly reccommend taking lessons with Skip - you will be very glad that you did.

I'm sided to attend this golf Academy after doing extensive research on all of the golf schools in the greater Myrtle Beach area. I was more than impressed with the level of attention they give each student and they were able to do a ton with my golf swing. I look forward to returning and another year I have them evaluate my Swain then after I put in place what they have taught me. I noticed on my 1st round after the Academy I was hitting the ball about 20 yd longer so I have to re learn how to hit my clubs which is a good problem to have since they are on the fairway now. I highly recommend this golf school

Mel Sole Golf School is what you should do instead of lessons at the box stores. Wife and I both attended the 3 day course. School reservations and on site accommodations were easy as Mel set up our visit for the school and playing lessons. On site accommodations were excellent, clean and within walking distance of the school. .The South Carolina area is pretty with lots to do. Our Instructor David was excellent. His first question on day one was what I had hoped would happen, and it was what are you here for and what aspect of your game would you like to make better. From then on It was video taping your swing mechanics and instruction in every aspect from pitching, chipping, full swing and putting in the way you understood what and how to correctly execute to become a better golfer. I suggest on course playing lessons as well with David. Not only will you gain some valuable experience but it is also fun. David answers questions and backs it up with show and tell teaching. I walked away with knowledge and understanding to practice for much better and enjoyable golfing. You can too.

Other reviews have described how good the lessons, clinics, and round robins are. What hit me was the totality: Palmetto Dunes has everything you could want for pickleball. 24 courts, lights, top players to watch, beginner clinics, huge baskets of balls, a stocked pro shop. (You do not need to stay at Palmetto Dunes to take advantage of any of these offerings, though PD has gorgeous accommodations.) We had clinics and lessons with Jamie, Sarah Mitten, Sarah Ansboury and Noah, and loved every moment of them. Lots of 4.5 players and lots of 3.0 players so something for everyone. Using our past travels to tennis resorts as a guide, I don’t believe there is anything Palmetto Dunes needs to add. For me, it is the top pickleball center in the US. We will be back next year for sure.

Just got home from a wonderful morning painting an 18” Christmas Tree and I am in awe of the fun I had not only painting but the ladies I met while I was there! We were in Greenville looking at fun things to do on a Saturday afternoon, and were referred to check out this candle making class. I have to admit, at first I was a bit skeptical, making candles couldn’t be all that cool, could it? Well Hunter proved me wrong, starting out the class with great information about the scents that we were to choose. I was blown away by the depth that they go into with their candle making, ensuring that the wax is soy, for better, safer burning. After learning about all of the time, effort, and materials that go into a candle, I will only be purchasing soy, or paraben free candles in the future. In addition to choosing the scent, we also were able to set the wick, pour the wax, and choose our colors. It was a great idea for a date, Hunter was an absolutely amazing teacher, and I can’t stop smelling this amazing candle that I produced. This is a can’t miss in Greenville if you’re looking for a unique and fun experience.

We had a girls 50th birthday weekend and this class was a blast! Chef Bob made it so much fun, the food was amazing and not hard to make. I highly recommend this.
