We booked our trip through shore excursioneer as a beach trip to Pigeon Island. 2 couples. We Traveled to St Lucia on a cruise so were there for only one day. Hans was our guide! He was so wonderful. Picked us up at cruise port to drive us to Pigeon Island. Already had a cooler full of drinks for us. There was a car accident ahead of us that had traffic at a standstill so we took the long way around to Pigeon Island. This turned out to be a huge positive as we got to see the Island through Hans' eyes and several landmarks and great views! Hans went out of his way to help us in every way. A very pleasant young man and so engaging. Enjoyed all our conversations with him. He Got us settled with beach chairs and umbrellas on a quiet beach at Pigeon. Probably only 4 other couples on the beach. At lunch he drove off the park area and picked up lunch for us...local food! We went with his recommendation and had Roti ( curry type beef, chicken or fish wrapped in a tortilla like wrap) and a drink called sour sop. AMAZING! Thanks to Hans' for a great recommendation. Pigeon Island itself is a 44 acre National Park and has views of Rodney Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. There are several trails to hike, some steep but the views are worth it. If you just want to sit on the beach then thats fine too as the views are wonderful. We enjoyed every minute here and would definitely book with Serenity and ask for Hans again. He made this day what it was. Historical, adventurous, beautiful and relaxing! Thanks for a great day!

I arranged a Round-the-Island Tour with Andre for 7 of us, some of whom live here and some of whom were here on boats for a long period while the borders were closed. We all wanted a change of scene and a chance to look around. It's a very difficult time for taxi drivers and others with none of the usual tourist crowds and cruise ships here. On the other hand we took advantage of the lack of people to enjoy the view points and quiet places. Andre entertained us as usual with his excellent knowledge of the island and remembered how to sing! We stopped on the way down the west coast to buy cassava bread and at Soufriere for freshly - made smoothies at Zaca's. We bought lovely pottery in Choiseul, drove up to the lighthouse at Moule a Chique in Vieux Fort and had a late lunch at the Reef before driving back up the east coast. It was a long day but we so enjoyed it and Andre was an untiring, companiable and flexible driver. I highly recommend him.

Shal, our guide and driver of the Jungle Tour Landrover jeep, was just right for us two adventurous couples. With a cooler full of waters, beers and rumpunch, we saw tropical rainforest, ate freshly baked bread from a local village bakery (no sign on the building, but Shal knows this kind of thing) bought local jerk seasoning and handmade woven baskets. I had my misgivings about the mud baths at the volcano, but we had a blast. There were a bunch of young Germans at the time. We all got covered in the special cleansing clay (with bathing suits on). Pretty rustic, but a cool experience. We felt refreshed and my skin was so soft afterwards. Shal was so personable, we ended up singing country songs with him as we whizzed through the beautiful landscape. One warning, when the top is on the Landrover, it gets fumy inside. We only had the top on when it was raining. Most of the day it was not raining, and the fresh air and sweet rich fragrance of the rainforest made up for it. Our lunch in Soufriere with a spectacular view of the Pitons over the bay was delicious - I was surprised by and enjoyed what tasted like potato salad, but was made with green bananas, no potatoes at all! Shal got us back to the cruise ship just in time - what a full fun day!

Mora and her driver, Dandy, were amazing!! We spent three days with them visiting various locations around St. Lucia including, the sulphur springs, a botanical garden, Gros Piton, Casava Bakery, Banana Plantation, mud baths, local villages, and a couple eateries. Mora is extremely knowledgeable about everything St. Lucia. She took time to answer questions and explain things, and even took some great photos for us. She was very prompt in her communication though out the entire process. They were both very personable, and the days spent with them were the highlight of our trip. They said “come as strangers, leave as friends”, and that’s exactly how we felt. We can’t say enough...we highly recommend!

My husband and I are so eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nadia and Barefoot Holidays team. At all times they were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. Super-Efficient, answered all my daily messages and calls, lol. As our wedding planners they went above and beyond the call of duty. Nadia and her team executed our wedding dream come true. It was everything we wanted and more. Months of planning and all the challenges including last minute venue changes they kept us stress free ????We knew we were in good hands. For the wedding reception Nadia and her team came up with the most beautiful and innovative decor. Wow, it was really lovely. We received wonderful feedback from our family and friends on how lovely, and creative the decorations were... Especially the over bridge table flowers and bouquets, lighting and arrangements around the room. Julian was super pleased with the special customized dance floor. Our entertainment at the reception had our guests dancing for hours, just the way we wanted... Barefoot Holidays St Lucia are like family and made sure we were well taken care of in every aspect. Sincere thanks and gratitude from your truly satisfied Mr. & Mrs. Toussaint

We did this tour as part of a catamaran tour of the island (We were on the Calypso Cat from Rodney Bay, the catamaran tour was great) Its an old plantation, showed us typical living quarters for workers back in the day, how palm trees are used for coconuts, fibre, fuel. Tasted the coconut milk and flesh, as well as cocoa. Saw how cocoa was processed, and how sugar was squeezed out of cane using a mule for power. Gave us a lot of information on the different plants native to the area. We had lunch there, food was ok, nothing special. It was a bit of walking, a bit much for my wife, who has a problem with one of her feet. If you have difficulty walking, may want to sit out the plantation tour. Would have liked to have seen inside the plantation mansion, but its off limits, family still lives there. Souvenir shop has all kinds of stuff, if you bake, I recommend you take home some vanilla, its natural, much nicer that the artificial stuff we normally get in stores. Also took home some honey, its very sweet and good. Just remember to pack in checked baggage, we forgot, they almost took it away at airport since its a liquid, were lucky that they let us keep it. Overall, I felt it was time and money well spent.
